Looking for someone that already have a deals aggregator script (like yipit) and can install on my cpanel account.

Please do not apply unless you have experience with Agriya’s framework, particularly the Yipit clone. I have several issues that I need help fixing.

Here are the issues we are having.

The script should (optionally) be able to fetch XML elements within <deal> based on XPATH because sometimes a script may contain XML elements with same name but different parent.

For saveology, if business link is not there to display deal, extract business link from affiliate (buy link)

If some XML element is missing in a deal that feedy scripts considers mandatory, that deal should be skipped instead of breaking the whole process.

Proper values of discounted value, discount % should be visible instead of 0.

For some retailers discount % is available in the title instead of a separate XML element. We may extract this value (using preg_match) from title and calculate discounted price.

Especially for CJ) The filtering of deals based on cities should be fixed. Stop random assignment of cities to deals. May use CJ feeds instead of product search API as feeds normally provide city information. ref TicketId=1202

I have at least 5 or 6 issues with the Agriya Feedy script which I would like to work on one by one.

The first is when the business link that goes to the deal is clicked on some of the sites go to a dead link. The link is in the database, but will not load in the iFrame and goes to something like http://www.vonza.com/show/.html . As you can see the link is not inserted before the .html. This is what needs to be fixed. Groupon and Living Social works normally and comes up in the iFrame.

After this, the next issue is that two of the cron jobs are not deleting the images from the deal files and the expired deals from the database.

I would like to hire first for fixing the link problem and then go on to other issues.

Need someone good with PHP, Regex, xpath to make modifications to current script and to fix some issues. Good knowledge of English. Communication via skype and gmail.

Work will consist of a number of small projects such as using Regex to scrape sites and also with Xpath for individual sites. Software already scrapes, but need the regex expressions for different sites.
