I have a Virtuemart store on the Joomla CMS. I sell different types of aftermarket parts for cars. I’m looking to have someone build a better way to organize the parts. I want an easy way for people to search by year/make/model, but also by the type of product such as coilovers, wheels, etc. It also must be able to do universal parts.

I want an easy way to assign products and prices to different cars and categories in the backend, but also have two options in the front end.

The website is springrates.com. Please talk with me about your ideas for organization. I’m also interested in having someone import parts into the database based on excel sheets.

This will be a reoccurring job if all goes well. I’ll also have small jobs on this website I’ll need done as well relating to features on the backend/frontend. I’m looking for people who work using current web standards at a fair price.

Virtuemart Review Module Customization (Joomla 1.5). I Need:

- Some modifications on the default review system: administrator must be able to add manually more than one review per product, using the normal procedure in the back-end of virtuemart, product list (see image attached).
- There must be an html editor for the review form by backend (and the html must be read front-end).

I need a little customization in one module which goes in the homepage of my new Joomla 1.5 website, which has a private template bought online. The module call some virtuemart products and display at the moment JUST the name of the product plus image and price.
I need to have also some more additional fields displaied there, such as “author”, “sku”, “pages”… These fields have been already created by me and working perfectly in the backend and on the flypages. I need them now in the homepage module.
The work looks like very easy and just a matter of a couple of lines into the right file. What I need also is to understand how does it work.
So it would be for you programmers best result for lowest effort.

I have an old site built with Joomla 1.0.15, Sobi2 RC 2.9.1.0 and sh404sef 1.3.8 – build_337 and I’m looking to improve the sef friendliness.
The sef URLs and page titles are just fine (it writes the category names), but the meta description is the same for all the category pages (over 30,000 pages, the Joomla global meta description).

The main issue is that a lot of these products have an attribute which appears in the dropdown menu for the product, and parameters (which are set through “product type”).

I need to upload about 300 products with about 4 attributes (different colours) each. I have had CSVI installed but do not know how to use it, especially with attributes and parameters

I have uploaded some samples in the “Frames” tab so you can see how it would look.

Whether you do this manually or via a batchupload system, I do not mind. I can provide all data in excel, and images in zip folder.

I have a project that I need finished as soon as possible seeing as our launch date is drawing near.

The project is to finish development of a Joomla 1.5/Virtuemart product indexing site. Most of the basic things are set up such as the database, some storefront customization, and a filtration system for products but certain more complicated tasks need completion.

1) User Permissions need to be set up. Clients will be updating their own prices, or importing them into our database. What I would like is, for the stores to have a dynamic spreadsheet or product list where they can form a customized list of products from our database (or add new) that they specifically carry. Clients need to be able to only edit prices for products that are identified as being carried at their particular store. Ex. Client A shouldn’t be able raise Client B’s prices so people will choose Client A to buy the products.

2) I have a module called Cherry Picker and VM Breadz from http://www.galt.md/ currently set up to filter my products. The final website needs an elegant, yet simple setup and integration with a filter system similar to newegg.com or amazon.com. Cherry Picker should be able to accomplish this with little-to-no editing.

I am not really computer orientated or too literate so I need someone who can update my online shop. I recently had to have a new SSL certificate and in the process my site now appears to have other issues, I have been told by my provider that updating the above should sort the problem but that I need that done anyway. I mention my issue and any info as to whether site upgrades should sort it would be helpful as if upgrading does not sort it then another post will have to be done. After going thru to buying an item on shop you hit either the back arrow top left on screen or follow the “back” prompt the screen goes blank and WEB SITE NOT FOUND message comes up, it also says “if you think you are seeing this page in error, and your domain has been correctly pointed at this server, then you may need to “park” or “add on” your domain from within your cpanel administration page”

We have fully integrated the dedicated servers in virtuemart on our site www.corewebservers.com . we need someone to simply integrate the Cloud servers, Colocation and Web hosting the same way dedicated servers has been integrated (around 4 different plans with 5 addson for each of the 3).

Further more we decide to change the template of our site. It is important not to change anything in virtuemart. The programmer would backup virtuemart data and reintegrate in the new template. The new template would install on a different subdirectory making sure no mistake occur.

In virtuemart, after an article is bought, customer is redirected to the article to read. They can only read this article twice.

Ideally this link would also be found in the user’s account in case customer lost the original link. The link would be an encrypted internal link to a Joomla article.
