We have a small VBA function that inserts an image into an Excel 2010 worksheet. This function contains three options (file path, width, height). This function updates the image any time anything is changed with the formula that calls the function and deletes the previous old picture.

I am looking for a skilled excel vba macro programmer.
Its a very simple task of transfering matching data and just creating some calculations on that data. There are a few sheets in the workbook, but its the same data as such and same calculations.
So you will need to transfer the data from one sheet depending if it matched the name and date from the row in another sheet in that workbook and then perform calculations.
This is a small project and budget, but the selected programmer has the opportunity to work more on other projects on this workbook.

I am attaching a spell checker designed to be used with MS Access. This is a free offering from the author, so you aren’t violating any copywright, etc.

The spell checker currently checks the field with the focus. I need for it to check multiple fields on a form without having to confirm the “Spell Check is complete” after each field.

It should put the focus on the first field, spell check it and then move the focus to the second field and spell check it, etc. The “Spell Check is Complete” message should only appear after the form has been checked.

The field names that will be checked are Field78, Field80, Comments,PrivateComment.

I need a program that connects to a SQL database, and when the database says its ok to buy an item, the program will go to a website and buys the product the database says to buy.

1) The program initially will be for one website. You will be paid for that one website only on this project
2) The program needs to allow 2 payment methods, the first, default will ALWAYS be gift card, with a backup credit card.
3) Future updates might contain other websites, which will be different projects with different payments.
4) Shipping address for the items will change, and come from the database
5) Program should check and make sure the cost is the same or lower than whats in the database or not process the order.
6) When the program finishes the order it should look for the next order.

Programming language doesnt matter, but stability does and ease of use.

I know that MS Access does not allow a formt to be continuous if it has a subform in it… but I also know that there is a possibility of anything if someone knows enough!!!

I am working with MS Access 2010, and I have attached a screen shot of the form I’d like to have fixed. In the subform in the lower half of the form I would like to have a line for each customer, and then each customer to have a list of what activities were performed there. This is a data entry form, so report view is not an option.

We need a macro (Excel VBA) that takes all files from a source directory and quickly FTPs (preferably SFTP) all those files to a destination directory (on our server). The variables (source directory, host, destination/remote directory, username, password) would be hardcoded directly into the VBA script itself. We would also want the option to ignore subfolders as well as the option to only upload files of a particular extension (e.g. .htm, .csv, etc.)

Since there are a lot of files, speed is critical.

I have a large booklet / Disclosure that I need to email to clients on occasion after some minor customizing.

I would like an MS Word VBA solution to add a little customization. Other solutions I may be open to including a VB single purpose program or a .pdf solution. I do not have a full Adobe Acrobat program though. I just have Adobe Reader.

It should pop up a user form (which I provided a screen shot sample for lay out) I will enter a few pieces of information and click one of two buttons. The first button is Merge – which shall transfer the data from the input box to all the footers on all 80 pages and also add a few of these pieces of data onto the title page. At this point I can see it is done right and save through the normal MS Word interface as a “Save As” if I need to save.

The Second Button is “Merge and Email in PDF”. When I click this button it will merge like previously stated and also open my default mail client into a new message window. It will add this created form as an attachment and label it using the Address field (if selected) from the User Form and the name of the document. Example “Combined Hazard Booklet – 1234 Main Street.pdf” also it will Copy the last page of the document which is the receipt into a second attachment labeled as “SIGN & RETURN – Receipt – Combined Hazard Booklet for 1234 Main Street.pdf”.

The VBA code shall be unlocked and viewable by me. This is for my personal use and not for resell. The VBA code shall be commented on nicely so I can make some changes and follow along.

When the .PDF forms are created I want them locked down to avoid editing completely. I generally only want them to have the ability to view and print. No editing or removing data. I believe there are user codes to lock this down.

There shall be a sub form with the ability to set defaults. (I have designed a snapshop of what I am looking for) The VBA Code shall have a place for me to input the proper pass code information, pdf security settings and other items related to email.

So to re-summarize I want my steps to be minimum to just opening the word template have the input box open automatically > I add some quick information > click the merge and email button > Have it open the client insert the two documents and add subject line text and the body text.

After it does all this I will use the email client to send the document. I just want it to get to the point that I just need to add an email address and send.

Finally, I am flexible on the solution but I need to make sure that if using MS Word then all issue with Widows and Orphans need to be resolved to avoid ugly print outs. My .pdf is exactly how I want it to look page by page but with the customization in the footer and title page.

We need two Excel VBA files, each of which creates a batch file, runs the batch file and then deletes the batch file after the batch file has completed its run.

Batch file #1 uses the inputs (source directory, destination directory), goes through each and every CSV file within the source directory, removes the last carriage return of each CSV file and then overwrites the new CSV file to the destination directory.

Batch file #2 uses the inputs (source directory, destination directory, latestdata.csv directory), goes through each and every CSV file within the source directory, removes the last carriage return of each CSV file, retrieves the latest data from latestdata.csv (if the data is there), appends the data to the CSV file and then overwrites the new CSV file to the destination directory.

Since there are a lot of CSV files, speed is critical.

The certain email address is a setting, which the use can maintain itself. Maybe this is an solution: Create a default contact called dropbox with the certain email address in it. So you can use the name dropbox and if the email address is changed, this will be changed

I am a VBA developer and I want to learn VB.NET, so I need a step by step guide to build my first Excel Add-in

I need a document with the explanation of the steps required to create the Add-in (example: creates a new project, add references, etc.)and source code, it must work on Excel 2007 and win 32/64 bit and must be redistributable, will load the first time and will remain in the add-ons.

Step 1) when it will be loaded, will create a new tab (name Black) in the Ribbon (img 1) and a new group (img 2) whit button called Black second.

Step 2)when the button (Black second) is clicked will create a new worksheet Data (img 5) as the image 3, without comments (numbers ending in column B to 30000). Now the user fills in the columns (img 4).

Step 3)when the button in worksheet Data (Button 1)is clicked will create a new worksheet “-” (img 6). Here I need to translate all the formulas in VB.NET .In this way, I see only the numbers and not formulas in cells.The value of these cells (labels:num,peri,signal) should remain variable.

Step 4)build Add-in

In sheets, to explain myself better, I put the formulas with and without labels, I do not need any comments in Excel, but I want the commented code.

Convert large MS Access database to Java. This project consists of 300 plus forms and 250 plus reports. significant VBA and SQL (mostly in the forms). Must have a minimum of 5 years experience with MS Access and 5 years experience with Java. This will be a desktop solution.

I have an excel spreadsheet that enables us to produce quotes based upon various criteria and data. It works reasonably well but I wanted to make it more sophisticated, so I had a VBA expert develop it using VBA. Unfortunately first one programmer gave up doing programming and then the next was taken sick. I would now like to find someone who could pick up the pieces and finish the job. Once it is finished I would then want to do some further work using a combination of excel and VBA.

One of the fundamental things that the VBA programmer did, I believe, was to incorporate a link to our Sage Act database, so that customer names and addresses and other data could be ‘grabbed’ by the system.

If Excel/VBA does not suit you I am open to suggestions as to better ways to go about it.

The first step would be get a handle on how my ‘simple’ quoter system works and then how the VBA version works. Then it would be a matter of trying to incorporate some enhancements that my team wish to add and also to break it all down so that it is entirely driven by parameters.

Magento data conversion from internal file to importable format. For the import we use the format that is readable by storemanager for magento by magneticone. This is a different format than standard Magento!

We always use grouped products with simple products as ‘child-product’.

1. create grouped product from internal file
2. create simple product(s) from internal file connected to the grouped product

grouped product has image(s), simple products not.

As per his script, I would like the email to have the detached file name paths and date detached, inserted in the body of the message. However, I would like to allow the user to choose where each file is saved to, with an option to skip if required. Skipping the file should remove it and stamp the body as removed. It should also prompt with the last saved location to save time when saving to long paths.
