I currently have a large software system that is 95% complete. The people I was working with unexpectedly left the project. The site is PHP and runs from a mySQL database. This is what I need:

1- Design implementation. I have all of the PSDs, I just need them implemented accordingly.

2- Debugging. I will tell you how certain things are supposed to function, and the coding needs to be tweaked to make that happen.

3- Custom coding. There are about 2 functions currently missing. They are minor.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: I am a programmer myself, I just don’t have the time to dedicate to this to get it done in the required time frame. Therefore, we will both be able to speak on the same level about what needs to be done.

Also, it may take a bit of time to familiarize yourself with this program, so include that fact in your bid.

I need a C programmer who can extend a program. The program is an open source basic compiler. I need some additional modules for the main program. There is a module template for easily adding new modules… so that should not be to hard. Additionally the http deamon needs to be checked for bugs and get optimized.
Modules will include a working XML parser (there is already one, but it is undocumented crap), a SQLite module, graphicsmagick module, a ffmpeg module and a module to integrate aes encryption/decryption for strings.
Additionally, the “execute” command needs to be extended to also return the std output from the launched shell program to the interpreter for further processing. This should also be possible with the graphicsmagick module und ffmpeg module.

At the end, the source needs to be recompiled for win32,win64,mac OSX(intel), linux.

Initial work should be done on a windows system, as I also use it. This way we can easily exchange intermediate test versions and compile for the other platforms at the end.

All users will have some limitations (like basic subscription on modelmayhem). Some content will be modified a bit (extended profile type). Improve install SQL data PERL

The code installs the SQL data into the database.

The host does not allow remoter SQL access.

PERL

Any code should have minimum, or better still, reduce), impact on the host server. (Shared host).

The code supplied functions with the following issues that require your fixing:-

When run the code displays aright at first but after about an hour the display goes blank, the code still runs even though the display is blank and the process finishes after about 4 hours.

The code have a lot of delays, (Perl sleep), and some disconnects, a delay, then reconnects this is done to reduce impact on the host.

The code has, (commented out #), a number for display messages to show progress during the install of the SQL data. These would stop displaying after about one hour and now a file is created as a record of progress. The code emails me when complete.

Once you fix the going blank display the progress messages would be uncommitted so that the progress may be viewed.

So your tasks are:

Stop the display going blank so that progress messages may be viewed.

Spped up and Reduce impact on the host.

Advice of I could remove the delays, (sleep), to speed up the progress while reducing impact on the host.

The code:

Prepare outside this code :Zipped SQL data are uploaded as zip files.

How the code basically works.

The uploaded zipped SQL files are uncompressed, one at a time.

The uncompressed file is read in one line at a time writing to a temporary file of 2000 lines, (reading in the whole file caused memory issues during local testing). This is done to reduce impact on the host.

The temporary file is then installed in to the SQL database using the >>>load data local infile<<< command.

This repeats until all the SQL is installed.

I have a photo gallery plugin for Wordpress built as well as an events plugin completed. Both of these plugins need some updates and the person who built them is unable to complete the work. The updates are adding some extra functionality and fixing issues with the plugin not working on all servers.

Let me give you a low-down of what we do first so you better understand our requirements.

We currently have a warehouse and on regular we have truck drivers picking up orders and dropping off orders. (Shipping and Receiving)

Our currently Shipping and Receiving forms are in word and excel. We want to automate the entire process.

So, shipping we use about 3 different forms
a) Drivers Check-in Sheet (printed form where drivers fill out)
b) Shipping Form (excel)
c) Bill of Lading form (word)

and,

Receiving uses 2 types of forms
a) Drivers check-in sheet (Printed form where drivers fill out)
b) Receiving Form (excel)

As you can imagine all the paper work could become overwhelming, therefore we wanted a program created where everything is program based. ( automated process)

So, this is how we want it:

1) Driver walks up to a monitor and enters his information onto a form
2) The form processed form then becomes available for warehouse personnel complete.
3) The form is completed by warehouse personnel, the driver double checks the form on the screen and does an electronic signature and prints the form.
4) The forms are all saved into a db.

The project requires a comeplete programming and designing of site like Omegle with few changes.

I need a spreadsheet that I cannot alter except for defined fields for input actions only.

1) I will begin by inputting the revenue from a job, then the spreadsheet needs to subtract the “job expenses” of that job which will produce result 1A. The revenue will begin with labor, which will be a gross amount, so I will input the gross amount, then the program needs to calculate the government sales tax (GST) from that gross amount which will be preset to 5% but must be easy to change if necessary. Then the next revenue I input will be materials, and the calculator will calculate the 2 taxes, which is 5% again, and an additional 7% for Provincial Sales Tax (PST). This net amount will be result 1B.

2) Then, a number of “business expenses” will be subtracted from result 1B, which will produce result 2, the “bonus fund”
Some of these expenses are fixed and some fluctuate and I need the ability to add or delete expenses.

3) Then I need another sheet that tracks employees including myself, our rate, how many hours each of us worked in a calendar month, and the gross amount we were paid. Hours for all employees will then be totaled & then a result will be produced to provide a percentage of hours worked by each employee. So if I have 3 employees, and we worked 1000 hours in total for January, and I worked 413 hours, then I need the spreadsheet to provide the percentage, which in this case would be 41.3%… and then to provide the percentages for the other employees as well.
I need the ability to easily add or delete employees.
There are some expenses related to certain employees earnings, for example, employment insurance is $4.10/$100 of earnings for each registered employee… so I need the program to calculate this number for me and make it optional for each employee.

4) Then the spreadsheet will take result 2 “bonus fund” and multiply that by each employees percentage and produce the amount of money they would receive as a “bonus.”

A simple and easy user interface is important with summary pages.

5) Then I need another sheet… this one will take all the income I was paid (results from #3), then add the bonus on top to provide the gross income. Then it will subtract my personal expenses, taxes, debt payments, etc. and provide me with a result.

The bonuses are paid monthly, so it would be nice if the program knew that it was the start or end of the month and would automatically begin calculating everything for the next month and not add it onto the previous month.

I need to be able to create pdf format.

There is more I would like to do with the last sheet, but lets start with this… unless you have some ideas as far as the program keeping track of debt balances as I make regular payments and make extra payments.
