We are HomesUSA.com, a small but fast-growing company based in Dallas, Texas, USA. We are seeking to hire a part-time Administrator for our servers for a permanent position. You may live and work from anywhere in the world. You will work 100% via a virtual work environment supported primarily by e-mail, Skype, FTP/SSH, and Windows Remote Desktop.
We are in the process of acquiring new Windows based servers and seek an Administrator to migrate all data and systems from present servers to new servers in a timely manner. (See attached file for a list of current and new servers.)

Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in related field or combination of education and experience required.
* Must be able to communicate in English with personnel at all levels and work closely with software developers
* Proficient in:
– Server administration and management of Microsoft Windows system 2003 and 2008
-ISA 2006, TMG 2010, IIS, MS Exchange 2010
– Microsoft SQL Server 2008
– Hyper-V Experience is a plus
* Work from your location in any country, will need to have your own computer and internet access
Ongoing duties will include the following:
* System monitoring, preventive maintenance and prevention of unauthorized intrusions
* Update and maintain server installation and configuration procedures and documentation
* Investigate and troubleshoot server issues; review server event logs
* Implement, test and document disaster recovery procedures
* Automate tasks where possible (backups, maintenance)
* Configure services, settings, storage, directories, groups and membership
* Conduct performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization
* Configure CPU, RAM, and disk partitioning as required
* Assist in hardening servers per best practices
* Ensure security patches are current
* Assist in installation and configuration of software on workstations.
