We should have a portlet where a user could make a music download store. That means it should be possible to add new categories and in this new songs. Further it should be possible to add a small sample song for the customer to hear a small sample of the whole song.
Further we need a module for first clickandbuy and a further payment-tool for creditcart.
I dont know if it would be possible to add this features in the shopping-portlet which is delivered with the Liferay Portal. If yes, it will be greatfull if we could do that way.
Then it will be great, if we could add a third category to add products. At the moment it is possible to add normal article or books to the shopping-portlet. Then it will be great, if there will be a further button to add new Music to the store.
Further it should be possible to pay with the mobile phone. but for this i must first look how to realise this part.

For a project need some changes of the liferay – core implentation.
For this reasy we search any partner, for further projects too, which have much expirience in liferay – development.

First project will be to change to core of liferay in this way, that it will be possible to delete any instances of liferay. For the moment its only possible to add new portal instances. For our needs it should be possible to delete any portal instances that we could rent any portal instances to any customer.

A further project will be ti change the user-system that way, that only our company could see the server-section in the controll-panel. For the moment, the serversection every admin see it, altought only one admin could use it. For my reason only the main-administrator should see this section. Our idea is, to share any portalinstances of liferay to customer, that way, that they could create theiy own website with the application and add their own templates.
Then we should have the possibility to limit the diskspace per portal instance. So that we could rent for example a portal with 10mb diskspace for 5$ 50mb for 10$ and further. So we could rent many instances with only one server.

I didnt know if this descripton is clear enought. If not please contact me. And the price for this project is only for the possibility to remove any instances. The second paragraph is more what we need further. I will write for this new posts.

My client needs a simple drupal admin web interface that ties into mySQL/Postgres database at Amazon EC2. PM me and I’ll send you an ‘ideal’ version of what my clietn is looking for in terms of the look.

The overall need for the web interface is to allow internal users to upload customer .csv files containing name/address/phone number and to then have those compared to the records in our database. The uploaded file will have records removed based on a suppression algorithm in our DB. The cleansed file will then be available for download and statistics as to how many were uploaded/removed etc will be tracked.

Need to be able to:
1. Upload CSV file for analysis against the database.
2. Have an admin area to store basic customer information (uploaded files, etup customers (name/address etc), store uploaded and cleansed .csv files, the stats from the cleansing process etc.

This of course will need to be installed.

I have twelve separate database marketing files. These do not all have the same fields but do have some fields in common. My goal is to compile one master database using as much of the data as possible. Accuracy is of greatest importance and I fully expect this to be a complex job. This job will not be a simple name match. It will require careful planning. On some matches it may require comparing the first few numbers of addresses and month and year of birth to another file that has the full date of birth. At time a month and year of birth and last name will be matched to another file that has last name and complete date of birth but you will also need to compare the city or zip code. As I said it is not a simple matching process. I have attached a file you can review that shows the samples of the data. Some of these are very large database as indicated in the approximate number counts.

I have a strong server you will be able to utilize to make this happen unless you prefer to use your own or own software. I can connect the data to an external drive on the server and you would need to move it as needed but because of file size it will require extensive use of the backup drive as well as the main drives.

You must have extensive experience in Data matching, appending, cleansing, deduplication, validation, and merging of data across multiple tables or data structures. The attached document shows 11 of the current databases and a 12th will be added but it is only about another million records.

To sum this up all 12 files will become one master file that includes as many data elements as possible. Some states will have data that others will not. For example there are two database, one for Oregon and one for Washington that contain data elements no other state has. Another example is there are data elements for 2/3 of the states that 1/3 do not have.

Planning is going to be a big part of this project. Please have experience in data compiling if bidding.

Much of the work is with Japanese language site front ends and data collection however we have Japanese staff and I personally speak, read and write Japanese. Hi I am trying to create a website which is basically identical similar to www.bidcactus.com,just with a different name of course. I would be interested in doing it myself but unfortunately that is beyond my knowledge with computers. I have already had a few bids from people local in my town but I though I would check on here before I pick someone.

I have a powerbuilder application. To explain what it does in a nutshell, it connects to a database and checks the sum of a column, if this net amount exceeds an amount we set then it stops specific .exes from launching. So its a bit like a net nanny that stops kids from going on certain websites except this stops people opening programs.

It currently works fine although they are some minor bugs, the current process is worked in a way thats its extremely difficult to close down, if you close one exe there is several monitoring that one, and there is also ones monitoring the exe that that are monitoring so it makes it quite difficult to bypass this.

Anyway thats in a nutshell a simplified version of what the application does, the original developer is not available to continue the project for at least a month so i need someone to continue with debugging and adding some small features until he returns. Depending on the situation and quality of work we may have ongoing work even after the developer returns.

I have a completed C# Application but i have a couple of things i need to edit on it, first to explain what it does, you import text into a window, it takes playernames from this and runs a query to the postgreSQL database and displays stats from postgreSQL in an output box

Now it works perfectly on small to medium database and where the username has 10-20k records but i have 1 player that has 300k records and it gives a .net framework error for this.

So youll just need to fix this bug.

1) The other changes are also quite simple. there are 25 tickboxes in the application, just add a button that unticks all the boxes at once.

2) Theres a window where you paste the text names into again just have a button that clears this so you can add new text instead of having the user manually delete the text

3) There is a dropdown list with a couple of options, it should remember the last option they choose.

4) For the 25 tick boxes its set so they can choose up to 10, it should also remember what boxes were ticked last time it was run.

I have all the source codes and its designed in C# and runs off a postgreSQL database, i will provide you with the source code files to double check before you accept the project but only after i have narrowed it down to 1 or 2 people as i dont want to be giving away the source code

We need help to complete a complex Perl script. Only experienced Perl coders need apply.
The script generates SQL statements in text files so a knowledge of SQL is also required.

The script takes pipe delimited text files & database table structure information and constructs tab delimited text files with a header row, suitable for load into external databases, reporting tools or excel.

The text files created are all exported from a proprietary database using a unix command line utility and are initially pipe delimited – without a header row – but converted by the script to have tabs and a header row. At the moment the script also dynamically creates a file describing the structure (google schema.ini files) of the tables.

The script is configured by an XML configuration file (parsed by XML::Parser). It exports the database tables listed in the XML file and places them in a directory on the server, shared by samba.

The script is well commented and around ~500 lines long and contains half a dozen subroutines.

Your task is to add routines to the script to achieve the following:
1. Generate SQL statements to create the tables in MySQL, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008 based on the database structure information.
2. Alter the tab delimited files record by record, field by field, so that the date and number formats match the format understood by the database (currently the tab files contain dates of DD-MMM-YY). Databases are VERY picky about dates, and seldom have any way of specifying the format of the incoming date during a bulk load. The conversion of the date fields must be achieved by using basic perl and not date/time libraries as the libraries available are inconsistent across operating systems.
3. Create the BULK LOAD statements to load the tab delimited text files from their textual form into the databases (Listed in point 1).

2 load balancer (supermicro P4, 3GRAM, 200GB RAID disk), 2 systemx ibm 3650 server (48GRAM/server), 1 ibm ds3400 shared storage.

The shared storage has redundant controllers and the storage is connected to the servers through redundant optical cable. The loadbalancer is redundant too. The load balancers choose the less loaded server to serve the webpage requests.

The system is working, the shared storage is working, the web load balancing is working. I need some help only for installing postgresql.

-Users are simultaneously created in sipxecs along with options for that particular subscription.
This could be done every few minutes and does not have to be real time.

-Users can change the features and options that they wish, from joomla, which would then be updated on sipx. This of course needs to update the users bill, pro-rating if required for end of month. Users pay their month bill on joomla.

-Basics such as, if user doesn’t pay bill, warnings are sent, then a suspension until paid. Suspension means suspending user access on sipxecs, not joomla.

-User can end their subscription but only an admin can delete an account.

-If small business or multiple users who wish to have extension capabilities, option of having extensions/group.

-Users control their settings via wrapper on joomla to sipxecs. When user logs into joomla then uses wrapper to edit settings, user does not have to log in twice.

This is quite a complex project so please feel free to ask questions via PM but heres the basic overview.

Basically youll need to get the information from the poker client, i guess this can be done via several methods, screen scraping, OCR, image recognition or possibly a much easier method which ill discuss in a moment.

It will also need to get information such as the 5 cards drawn on the table, the persons 2 cards thats playing and the betting action, this all appears in a chat window so if you can get uninterupted access to that then you probably wont need screenscraping, OCR etc

You can discuss the pros on cons of which is the better method via pm but id like the most reliable version.

So once weve all the information about the cards, the players name and whos in what position (all in the player chat window) then we need to automate the program to do various tasks based on the cards, players name and also 1 other thing:

In the postgreSQL database is information attached to each of the players name, so we now make automated decision based on the cards and certain values assosiated with the players in the postgreSQL database.
