I am using ASP/MS Access and have keyword search box on site main menu. this is showing results in search-results.asp using a form GET parameter.

But the search is bding done on a record field which is the contents of a page so could be 500-600 words long.

I only know how to bind the field in the results page, but what I want is to a)highlight instance(s) of the search word in the returned text and b) trim the binding down so there are just 10-15 words preceding and succeeding the search …

This is quite complicated. The form is written in classic ASP and has quite a lot of javascript in it. There is also quite a lot of SalesForce CRM codes in there too. The output is written to a MS Access database too – we cannot alter the structure of the database as it wil be used by other existing forms when live.

I’m not sure what capabilities HTML5 has, but it would be nice if we could keep some of the javascript features it has:

But essentially these are:

1) there is a datepicker where dates in the past are disabled and it is only possible to select either the current year or next year. The default date is Today, so if nothing is entered, today’s date is chosen.

2) if the check box is selected for weekend hire, the drop down menus for weeks and days are disabled and the weeks is set to 0 and the days is set to 4.

3) I’d like it to be impossible for people to enter a birth date that means they are under 21 or over 75

The Current Vacancies information is stored in an MS Access database on our web server and the display of information will need to be formatted well for mobile access. This is already done on our current website and simply needs to be formatted correctly for a mobile browser.

I have an MS Access database that I want to convert to MySQL and post on our website. The database is not interactive, but must be searchable on up to the first five characters in the product name. An interactive search that begins displaying possible matches as characters are typed would be awesome.

The Access database has more fields than we will be displaying. At this time the displayed database will have 5 fields: product name, dosage, price per dose, pharmacy, country. The database will have several thousand records and the user must be able to scroll through the results.

The ability to easily maintain the database and post current information to the website is a must. If it is an automated process all the better.

We are a market research recruitment company looking for an IT specialist that can (on an ongoing basis) help us with our IT requirements.

Our business is finding people to take part in research across the UK asking them to register their details to our website.

Our current set up is that people register their details to our website that information is then passed via php through to mysql, which is then uploaded to a webpage. This is then copied and pasted to an excel sheet for our use. This process has become slow and out dated and so we are looking for the following:

The spell checker currently checks the field with the focus. I need for it to check multiple fields on a form without having to confirm the “Spell Check is complete” after each field.

It should put the focus on the first field, spell check it and then move the focus to the second field and spell check it, etc. The “Spell Check is Complete” message should only appear after the form has been checked.

The field names that will be checked are Field78, Field80, Comments,PrivateComment.

This project is to convert list of addresses from a .txt format to .pdf in an “Avery 5160 Mailing Lable Format”. Addresses must be prepared by CITIES. This is a weekly project that would continue for at least a full year. Project must be delivered within 24 hours after acceptance and payments will be issued weekly after each project is completed.

The price is multiplied with the variable provided in the “Amount Needed” field. If they want us to quote freight, or check availability we need to capture the zip code and for now, freight and availability will be manually calculated, and emailed by hand later.

The auto-response quote, will have some basic quote text, a logo, and the price that was calculated. I will provide detail on this report at a later date.

I am currently using inflowinventory (www.inflowinventory.com)and need an application on my scanner to connect with inflow. The wireless server I am using is TracerPlus Wirless Server (www.tracerplus.com). I installed the tracerplus application onto my scanner(Motorola MC75 mobile). I am able to connect wireless to the database using a sample access database from the Tracer Wireless Server. However I need it to connect with my Inflow SQL database. I would like the application to have Receive/Issue on the scanner. You can find a free sample template from TracerPlus Desktop called “Inventory Issue and Receive”. Need somebody to create a receive/issue application from TracerPlus similar to the sample to run on my scanner that will connect with Inflow SQL database.
