I have an VS 2005 c# application that reads in xls files to get information on shift assignments. It currently stores one month’s data and outputs it in a couple different forms.
I need the freelancer to customize the application:
1. Input more than 1 shift per month (different people) and match up people who work together (recognizing which data is duplicate or missing)
2. Store this data long term in a readable simple mdb database
3. Export the data by shift with associated data (# of coworkers, type, etc)
4. Customize the importing xml file so that it’ll import a few types of xls types.
5. Make small changes to the xls pages so they’ll import according to the xml pages.
This doesn’t have to be very pretty, but we need to make it work now and for a few years. It only has to import 2 pages for each month (already works individually) and for about the last 3 years.
If this works out, we can work on some c# objects for the related project.

I need a spreadsheet that I cannot alter except for defined fields for input actions only.
1) I will begin by inputting the revenue from a job, then the spreadsheet needs to subtract the “job expenses” of that job which will produce result 1A. The revenue will begin with labor, which will be a gross amount, so I will input the gross amount, then the program needs to calculate the government sales tax (GST) from that gross amount which will be preset to 5% but must be easy to change if necessary. Then the next revenue I input will be materials, and the calculator will calculate the 2 taxes, which is 5% again, and an additional 7% for Provincial Sales Tax (PST). This net amount will be result 1B.
2) Then, a number of “business expenses” will be subtracted from result 1B, which will produce result 2, the “bonus fund”
Some of these expenses are fixed and some fluctuate and I need the ability to add or delete expenses.
3) Then I need another sheet that tracks employees including myself, our rate, how many hours each of us worked in a calendar month, and the gross amount we were paid. Hours for all employees will then be totaled & then a result will be produced to provide a percentage of hours worked by each employee. So if I have 3 employees, and we worked 1000 hours in total for January, and I worked 413 hours, then I need the spreadsheet to provide the percentage, which in this case would be 41.3%… and then to provide the percentages for the other employees as well.
I need the ability to easily add or delete employees.
There are some expenses related to certain employees earnings, for example, employment insurance is $4.10/$100 of earnings for each registered employee… so I need the program to calculate this number for me and make it optional for each employee.
4) Then the spreadsheet will take result 2 “bonus fund” and multiply that by each employees percentage and produce the amount of money they would receive as a “bonus.”
A simple and easy user interface is important with summary pages.
5) Then I need another sheet… this one will take all the income I was paid (results from #3), then add the bonus on top to provide the gross income. Then it will subtract my personal expenses, taxes, debt payments, etc. and provide me with a result.
The bonuses are paid monthly, so it would be nice if the program knew that it was the start or end of the month and would automatically begin calculating everything for the next month and not add it onto the previous month.
I need to be able to create pdf format.
There is more I would like to do with the last sheet, but lets start with this… unless you have some ideas as far as the program keeping track of debt balances as I make regular payments and make extra payments.

I’ve got an existing access database with some forms and a mainform – the job management.
In the job management exists for the set up of data records some combination-fields with content from linked tables (something like clients, modell, counterpart,…).
I don’t want to switch everytime among the forms to maintain the tables for the combination fields. So now I need an eventbutton (beside the combination fields) to set up a data record via “fast-setup” and to select him automatically in the combination field after applying the subform with OK. The subform should be opened in a new window (not tab).

I need someone to provide support for an internal database. Its simple work for a pro it’ll just be for when our internal guys find a problem with 3rd part data that causes a linked table to mismatch, of possibly to add new standard linked tables into existing query formats.
the database is very low on interface with users. It links to 70 or so sales tables provided by 3rd parties, and 4 cost files. These are standardised and indexed (and index needs to be created out of a text field using instr type function). Then all the data is assemble to produc a large profit report of all lines of data. This is aggregated into a few reports and excel dumps.
So pretty basic (its written by a non programmer so just using drag and drop available in access).
I envisage this to be either on a retainer to establish a guaranteed response time to issues, with some rate over and a above a couple of hours a month covered by the retainer.

This can be web based or win32 possibly in Access. I am looking to grab recently arrested info from the Maryland Judiciary website. As it it right now, I can go to the site enter my criteria and it will return a series of results that I have to click on each one and manually get the defendants infomation( Name, Address, Charges, etc…)each defendandt may be listed multiple times if there are several charges. The big issue is that I have to specify at least the first letter of the last name. So I have to run each search 26 times, i for each letter of the alphabet. for my date range. I want a form that I can just put in a date range and specify f I want Criminal or Traffic data and it will conduct the search for me and rather than displaying it all on screen it should place it in a database that I can create mailing lables from and keep track of who has been mailed possibly in intervasl of right away, 30 days, 60 days and 90 days.
So this needs to run the search and parse the details from the results into a database that I can print mailing lables from.
