am attaching ‘testimport.mdb’ ( microsoft access database)
and ‘ExcelSheet1.xls’-
as long as these two are in the same folder-
open database- click import button on form and browse to the ExcelSheet1.xls- it will import the data in.

Project consist of taking a rough MS Access Database design and converting it in to a menu driven application that could be adapted to a web hosted database application.

Need to be able to keep track of Certified Letters (Schedule, Sent, Received, Schedule follow-up Mailing of Certified Letter) These letter are sent to each creditors for Each Client. The schedule is dictated by when each mail piece is received by the creditor. example- one client has 10 credit cards, Each Account will receive from 1 to 10 letters each

There is specific information necessary for each Account.
an account may be a credit card account, a Mortgage Account, A collection Account, Auto Loan, Personal Loan, Etc…

Each class of account has different data necessary depending on the type of account. For Example if it is a Mortgage, I need to know the origination lender the assigned lender, the servicing lender, the property that is secured, if it is in foreclosure, I need the lenders attorney, Court information, Judge.

Each client will have a unique 3rd party witness and possible a unique Notary.

Each Certified letter has charges to the client and cost. (Postage, service fee, Notary, Certificate of Delivery, possible 2 misc fees) I need to know who signed for the Certified letter and I need to attach the Electronic Certificate of Delivery which is a PDF document.

Each account will report to various credit bureaus. I need to print out schedule for each client the accounts that are being reported to each credit bureau.

I need to produce an invoice to each client for the mailings.

Need to verify the data like Zip codes as being a valid zipcode (I have the Validation File)

Need to keep a list of Valid Certified Mail numbers so It is not necessary to enter each one separately when entering the certified mail schedule.

Would like to print each clients mail merge letters either by group or individually
Currently I have a “Mail Merge Query” for each type of letter, but, it is cumbersome to go through the process to merge one letter for a client. I need to be able to pick from a list of letters on a menu and automatically open the right Mail merge letter for a client. Each subsequent letter make reference to the previous letters Certified mail information. I have the query worked out. May need a little tweeking though.

Each account is either a client account , a Joint account, or a Spouse account.

I have a different billing schedule for each client. Monthly rate, service fees, notary fees, etc..

A property may have more than one lien on it. for example there may be a First Mortgage from Bank of america and a second Mortgage from Wells Fargo.

I need screens to update the certified mail when it is actually put in the mail (Mailed Date), When I get the electronic receipt, I need enter the date of receipt and who signed for it and attach the PDF receipt document.

Any alteration to the existing table structure will need to update the current database upon completion.

I will supply the current table and query structures, Code needs to be documented for minor alterations. This project will have follow projects.

How to deploy a C# windows application with microsoft access database on a local server? Each user does not have their own copy (does not)- they all connect to same database placed on local server-
Each user can deploy on their own pc- and input data from there-
i don’t have permission problems and each user has same version of .net.
do not understand click once- setup and deployment- or have tried publishing and does not let user connect to database-
have had help creating txt file and writing code in connection string – but don’t understand – and also do not understand all the places code has to be added.
I basically do this same thing over and over – i have forms for users to input data to microsoft access database- but i cannot get to work- i have two pc’s and can try to simulate-

time sheet program – a form will open up -
user can add hours and as long as they just hit save button- hours are kept . at end of week user hits submit button to submit hours and form is empty again to take in next weeks data.
the time clock program is just to show – how user hits button and time is entered automatically.
problem:
in time sheet form- i want users to be able to enter with clock in and clock out buttons- the regular time- and that column can not be edited- it this possible? ( all other times are entered by user and are editable).

I am running a joomla website and consequently information is stored in a php database. The results of multiple surveys for a course are stored in the database and have a designated structure of how the information is presented (i.e. Level 1, then survey 1, question 1, Survey 2, question 1, etc…up to Level 7, X number of surveys, and y number of questions).

What is needed is a solution to take the information from the database and manipulate it and output to Microsoft Word, Openoffice Doc or notebook if the functionality exists but the solution must include generation of graphs and tables based upon question type versus audience type (type 1, type 2, type 3…..).

The question types are:

multiple choice (one answer) – a correct answer can be specified but is not always specified or needed: if a correct answer is specified – then simply a table (an example will be provided): if a correct answer is not specified – then a column chart is needed which identifies the audience type and value/percentage. For this question, the fields include: question, question category, 5 answers + other (open ended response), correct answer if applicable, and question level.

Hello am attaching time sheet ( microsoft access) example
problem with it- if employee comes into work and clocks out for doctor appt. and clocks back in before lunch- this program has does not allow that.
you will open database and see a form.
on form you have 4 buttons- to clock in- go to lunch- return- and leave
you will see the tbl1 – data comes in different records and I have to run qry1 to put all data in same record

and compensate for people who might leave between morning and lunch or lunch and leaving?

Make Student Database Online

We have a Microsoft Access database which I have made for tracking students in various classes we run.

Here’s what I would like to have done with it (if possible) –
1. Make the database online, so that it runs off a server instead of the local PC
2. Make a front-end form that students can use to book into classes and make payments by Paypal (bookings must sync with the database)
3. Make a front-end report allowing students to see the classes they have booked
4. Make a front-end report for class changes or cancellations
5. Change the database to allow a maximum number of students per class, so that it will automatically display as “Fully booked” on the front-end booking form,
6. Set it up to take tentative bookings on a waiting list
7. Calculate a 5% discount for students booking more than 4 classes at once, and apply this discount to the total and thereby to Paypal.
8. Display terms and conditions prior to final confirmation of enrolment.

Also, as a bit more background for the job:
* We already have a basic form with Paypal connection, but it does not connect to the MS Access database, so enrolments have to be entered manually, which is time-consuming.
* Depending on prices quotations/level of difficulty, we may drop off some of the points from 3 to 7.

N.B. We are reasonably tech-savvy, so will be keen to get the system working by ourselves, but quotations MUST include after-service such that the database is fully functional and in use before the final sign-off.
