I am in the finance sector and want to save time with populating forms that contain the same fields (i.e. name, address, telephone number etc…).

Typically, I(or my referral sources) fill out a client application(which I created in Microsoft Excel and converted into PDF form) by hand and then use the information contained within this client application to populate other required forms. This is time consuming and what I would like is a piece of software that I (or my referral sources) can execute and type in the required information and then print all the required forms with the all the fields correctly populated.

All I have are the forms in PDF format. So, “I guess” they would have to be all scanned with OCR and then create the software so that the appropriate data fields can be populated in all the forms. There are some pages than do not need any populated data, however, I would like to have these pages in the software because it would be easier to just input the required information into the software and then press a key and all the pages would then be printed.

The whole goal is to print all the required pages in one shot with the appropriate data fields populated. There will be some data fields that will still need to be populated, however, that can be written in by hand by the individual.

I would also like to have all the code and a list of the software used to create this executable file, so that in the future I can call on you or if you are not available to give it to another coder to make modifications.

There are 17 pages in total, with 9 pages that require no population of data (they just get printed out with the modified forms)

Please let me know what you would charge to do create this and the estimated time frame to complete. If you have a better way to do this, let me know your thoughts or recommendations. PC based application is preferred or if not that difficult have it be able to run on an apple machine also.

I would like to work with a seasoned team or programmer with Amazon experience (A MUST!) for this project. Please provide examples of current Amazon related experience, only!

I need a script (with a Control Panel), Windows based (you propose the coding language) to do 3 major things:
1. build and update a database
2. data-mine Amazon (run all the time or on a schedule – to be determined)
3. create reports

1. The script will help me build and later update my own database based on 50K+ items inputs (CSV and/or XLS files) from 2 separate suppliers (assume different file formats). The inputs from suppliers change everyday (quantities, pricing), but not their format.

2. The script should then take the UPC codes from this database and search/mine Amazon for some specific information (ASIN, price, salesrank, etc).
829610880075 is a random UPC example – type it on Amazon search bar and you’ll see a specific item (ASIN) assigned to it.

3. The script should export reports on a set schedule that I would access directly and/or email them for later review. Note: I like using Excel!

Summary and more details:

The final purpose of the script is to help me decide if/when to buy new items or replenish my inventory based on a few criteria like:
a) quantity for an item in my inventory
b) price difference between supplier’s and the prices found on Amazon
c) others

Sometimes, the script will find 2 or more items associated to an UPC or the csv file is missing the UPC code for an item. The script should not stop there, but I should be flagged by the script to edit those items manually.

A formula for calculating the maximum price that should trigger me to buy an item will be supplied after the project will be started.

The Control Panel of the script should allow me to enter and change a few parameters like how often to create reports or other variables.

I need the database flexible enough if I’ll keep adding more suppliers and items in the future.

I need assurance that the script will be coded such that will work after Feb 2012, when Amazon’s API will be upgraded/changed again.

IMPORTANT:

Question for all programmers interested in this project: how much time do you estimate that will take for your script to parse 50K UPC’s and extract ASIN, Amazon Best Sellers Rank, “Add to cart” button price and 3-4 other fields for each UPC?
