Fix Jquery Ie Validator Error

I have a simple JQuery validator running on a form. It works in Firefox, Safari, etc but IE bypasses the validation script. Probably easy for you but I am not smart enough to figure this out. Files attached or see online at www.rk9.com/test/test.html. Thanks in advance for considering this project.
