I have a custom developed back end that uses multi-dimensional associative arrays. The project is to create an interface that allows a user to query our MySQL database, return some values, add some more values manually, then submit all of the information to Apple’s GSX API to create a Carry-In Repair. If the submission fails for any reason, actionable feedback will be supplied to remedy the issue.
No previous knowledge of the GSX API is required, but previous experience with sending/receiving SOAP requests over XML is. The GSX API is well documented (http://gsxwsut.apple.com/apidocs/html/WSReference.html?user=asp).
The functions that will be used in this project are:
CompTIA Codes
Create Carry-In Repair
Our existing back end which you will be modifying already has some aspects of communication with the API built in to it, such as authentication and warranty status checks, so you will not be starting from scratch.
I expect you to be able to communicate over Skype during the project. High quality, reliable coding is the only code I will accept. It needs to function each and every time. There will be back and forth testing of the code upon implementation. We don’t use a development server so you will be getting copies of the files to edit, and I will place them and test them when you are completed.
I will only accept bids if you have seen the specs and I have communicated with you any questions you have prior to bidding. I will retain ownership to all code created or modified during the project.
If you are chosen for this project and perform well, I have a long list of further projects relating to this API that will need to be completed.
Send PMB to get detailed specifications, please disregard the attached file.
