Image Sharing Website (reopen – Russian)
Create an image sharing website. The functionality should be similar to imgur dot com. Please make sure to visit the site before submitting a bid. Provider will be responsible for all design elements.
Key functionality:
1) Home page that allows for uploading from computer and web link
2) Home page that displays most popular images in last day
3) Image pages that display image, allows users to like, dislike, tracks popularity, views, sharing on major social networking sites, captions that can be liked/disliked and next images in popularity
4) Gallery pages that display most visited images of last day, week, month and year as well as most liked captions of day, week, month and year
5) User login, credentials and login with facebook/twitter/google/yahoo
6) Image upload functionality, including adding a caption and immediately sharing
7) Image editing (crop, rotate, resize), views stats for pictures
Note that as an image sharing website – scaling to large bandwidth requirements is a challenge. Please include in your bid whether you can also work on the server-side and set up a dedicated server.
