My aim is to create a detailed searchable statistics site for UK football.

My plan at the moment is to use BBC sport text commentaries and potentially other sites to do this.

The text commentaries aren’t completely consistent they use different phrases for the same action. For this reason the coder would need to speak fluent English.

At the moment I am only looking for someone to create an small app to parse the text data, because I am not sure if it will be possible.

The Ideal person will have experience parsing text data into statistical data. They will also be experienced in designing databases as this may be a necessary skill later on. They will speak/read/write fluent English, do not bother applying if you don’t.

I need help to get an image wich is updated once per second into a wordpress site. The images is a gif located on a remote ftp server so one has to use the login and password to get the image as it is now.

Ok at first I need to describe situation. I am PHP programmer, and havent worked with C++ before.
I want to make c++ analog of my PHP version script with I made.
PHP version script is not fast enough. With Boost for PHP (Facebook stuff) I saved ~50% script speed. So C++ can be faster.

Script idea. it takes data from mysql and parse it to find all phrases (example max 5 words) in text. After finding them most popular (example having 2 marches) goes to output. output is sql query (to insert new data to mysql).

I can provide PHP and my try to make c++ working. My code version of c++ was much slower then PHP version (lack of experience and choose wrong libs?). So I need help.

Basically a cookie cutter version, banners on the right, flash dissolving banner up top (which I will design as well as banner ads, menu, logo etc), All the main site menu links will be very similar with a view modifications (no blog, dvd catalog, our artists, sales)

The main differences are that the categories will be entirely different (different type of instructional videos) and I also want am additional drop down menu by instructor). Again, I want this as easy to update from the back end (admin) as possible for new content. There will be no DVD sales, strictly streaming VOD.

The site should be ready for me to just plug in new videos and add/remove categories and instructors etc.

The My Account section will have identical features to the ccp site. (I have a CCP member login and password that I can provide to the developer in order to be able to view the features I want that I have already mentioned above).

I will be using Viddler for the video hosting part of the site. From what I can tell they will handle all aspects of ensuring video is streamed for each member specification (iphone, browser/ISP speed, html5, flash, etc). These videos are an average of 60 minutes long.

If you do have experience with video on demand/video streaming that is a plus but not necessary. Just need basic advice/instruction on uploading video files to Viddler and discuss pros/cons of segmenting video into chapters or one full file, etc…basic stuff.

Everything worked but a little problem arise, one of the template for the mod won’t show the right charset:
