I had a programmer create a site, but he ran into personal issues preventing him from completing upload. The entire site should be finished and just needs uploaded. It has an SQL database. There are several .js, HTML, and image files.

I need this done by 9/20/2011, 8:00 a.m. PST (USA West Coast time). As soon as I choose bid I will send files to upload. I would do this myself, but I am not familiar with databases and how to set them up. I have instructions from the previous programmer as well if that would help.

I’ve spent a fair amount of time trying to get rid of it. I’ve improved it significantly but not enough, and I think someone with expertise in Java applets and Swing could fix my applet in less than an hour.

There are six class files, only three of which should be relevant, and a handful of jar files involved. The applet receives graphics from a few drawString() calls, one fill() call, and one drawImage() call that draws a BufferedImage.

To be clear, I’m asking for someone to
1) debug the graphical output of this applet, fix it, and give me working source code, and
2) give me a short explanation of what I was doing wrong.

We need a simple three-step web-based app developed.

The user logs in using his Facebook. He then picks one from his list of friends. Then he is presented with a transparent oval into which he has to fit his/her face picture – for size reference. After clicking next, he is presented with a default, preset picture into which that face is integrated at multiple places. He then has the option of posting that picture to his own wall as well as his friends wall. That’s it.

Every page will have jQuery fadein/fadeout animation to make it more pleasant.

This is not a Facebook app, so it will not run inside the Facebook canvas. This will run on a third-party website, but it will use Facebook connect to get the user’s friend’s pictures and wall posting access.

We will provide you the pictures and the cutouts etc. This app needs to be standalone, so it can be put in any folder on a website and made to work. You will have to test it out using your own server; we can’t give out FTP details. We will then take the files, add our own Facebook app API key and upload it to the final destination.

A couple of weeks ago I started getting a problem when I type the url /wp-admin – it redirects to /public_html/wp-admin and gives me a 404 error.

When I deleted the /public_html and try again it will let me login to the admin area.

I need this fixed please… without breaking my live site!

I need a logo for a sports forum website. It must be trendy but gritty, using the colors blue, orange, gray, black. Or it can be just blue and gray and black. It has to have FSP in it somewhere. It can be a badge or a crest or a shield or something along those lines. It can also just be FSP with an F in the background or some kind of universal sports symbol in the background. If you use sports balls such as football and baseball I do not want it too look like a cartoon childish. It would have to be a manly logo. I am hesitant about using sports balls in the logo. If anything a faint sports character in the background might work. Something like a shadow of a person with their hands raised in victory. These are just a few suggestions. Has to capture what sports and competition is really about. You have creative freedom to do something that you think would make sense for a sports website. It is a forum so that may help with some direction, you can look at any sports forum to see what it is about if you are not familiar. I do not want it to be too complicated however I do not want it to look very simple and basic as well. Once again you have creative freedom here. Once I see something I can give better direction.
