I have a site with some slider bars on them. Moving the slider bar pointers changes the value. Each bar has two sliders on it. One for minimum. One for the maximum. Once those values are set, I am using jQuery AJAX to display a list of products. The sliders are similar to the ones found on some diamond sites, such as www.bluenile.com.

My sliders now show the rate increasing in an even manner. If lowest value is 1 and the highest is 1,000,000, the value at the half way point is 500,000. I want the slider to increment in an uneven manner, so sliding the half way point in the above example would show 10,000. Sliding the bar to the 3/4 point would show 50,000, and sliding it from the 3/4 point to the end would increment for 50,000 to 1,000,000.

The sliders on the www.bluenile.com site for carats and dollars, behave in this manner.
