I am running a joomla website and consequently information is stored in a php database. The results of multiple surveys for a course are stored in the database and have a designated structure of how the information is presented (i.e. Level 1, then survey 1, question 1, Survey 2, question 1, etc…up to Level 7, X number of surveys, and y number of questions).

What is needed is a solution to take the information from the database and manipulate it and output to Microsoft Word, Openoffice Doc or notebook if the functionality exists but the solution must include generation of graphs and tables based upon question type versus audience type (type 1, type 2, type 3…..).

The question types are:

multiple choice (one answer) – a correct answer can be specified but is not always specified or needed: if a correct answer is specified – then simply a table (an example will be provided): if a correct answer is not specified – then a column chart is needed which identifies the audience type and value/percentage. For this question, the fields include: question, question category, 5 answers + other (open ended response), correct answer if applicable, and question level.

multiple choice (multiple answers) — Here a pareto chart or pie chart should be used to graphically display results. For this question, the fields include: question, question category, 5 answers + other (open ended response) and question level.

I have attached to this project the Photoshop file and image I want converted into an HTML page. My designer will then use this HTML page as the template for the rest of the website. So it needs to be sliced and diced in the correct way. I did this project before, but my directions were not very good.

The html version must look the same as the image, including shadows and spacing.

I do not want the words in the logo, the buttons or the log in button to be converted to text. I want those all to be images so that I can use a rollover effect on them in the future.

The “Forgot your username or password?” can be text. The Username and Password can be text as well.

Everyone I need a simple PHP Script ( 1 files script ) . I don’t need any GUI or anything.

The Script should do the following:

1. I set a string in a variable.
2. It should encode the string ( Preferably in CP1251 or any other encoding if you believe it will work )
3. The output after encoding should be echo to the screen.

Both the echo of Input and Output should be 100% same in the web browser however when I look into the source code of the page it should show the encoded characters in the source code.

The form at http://www.canlaw.org/cl/lawyers/lawyerstart.php has a box labelled URL OF YOUR WEBSITE on the right side.

When people enter their URL information in this box on this form, we do not get the data send to us in the email. We thought people were not entering their web sites, but they are and the information is not being captured for some reason. We suspect that the code on the php form for that box is wrong.

All other fields are fine and transmit properly.

Please fix the code so the URL detail is also sent to us.

Do not ask for site access or ftp information. No one gets access to our web site.

You should be able to fix the code and solve the problem in the form itself. I bet this is a very simple problem, but I do not see the error.

We would like to be able to white label our website www.videoelephant.com to a number of other websites. This would mean that other websites could have all the functionality of our website (uploading videos, purchasing videos etc) but it would all take place on our website. We would just mask/map the url on www.othersite.com/whitelabel so that it would appear to be happening on their site. We would just style the page to look like their website.

This is how it is done:

You need to modify the codebase and database of videoelephant.com to
handle different tenants (referred to as multi-tenancy.) In this
solution the same codebase, database and hosting is serving up all
white label sites. The right tenant and files are served up depending
on an identifier, usually the domain (e.g. www.othersite.com vs. http://www.videoelephant.com/).

I am just starting to think about a Google App project. The project would allow a group to track a list of items that that need to be done.

The to do list of items are entered and saved as a “template list” do they can be used over again for a new list.

Items are assigned to a user, a notice is sent to that user. That used accepts the item and agrees to the due date.

When a user completes an item they check that item as complete

A reminder email is sent to a user every day starting 4 days before the task is due. If the user has completed the task they click the completed link in the email. No need to get into the app to mark it has complete.

Any user may add a task to the task list and that task becomes part of the task template. This enables that task to become part of this template the time this task template is used.

A task template list can be printed with the current status of each task. So that it can be brought to meetings.

When a task template is created it is created so that each task has a due date XXX days to the event date.

For example:

Buy Advertising = 20 days
Print Posters = = 17 days
Record Radio Spots = 7 days
Order Food = 22 days

The the final todo list looks like:

Order Food 22 days
Buy Advertising 20 days
Print Posters 17 days
Record Radio Spots 7 days

Then an event date is set for example: September 30, 2011

Then the first task is due on September 8, 2011
The next one is due on September 10, 2011
.
.
.

If someone wants to assign someone a talk after the due date has been defined they could assign the task based on a specific date and the task list will simply convert that date to the number of days before and event.

Lets say we add a task to be done on September 29, 2011. Then the task would be entered as Sep 29, 2001 and it would be added to the list as Due 1 day before the event. This way when the task list is used for another event it remembers that this task is due 1 day before the next event date.
