The WordPress theme I’m using on my blog has an e-mail opt-in box as one of it’s features.
The theme I’m using is a free one supplied by WordPress called intrepidity 1.5.1
I would like to be able to use this opt-in box to collect names and e-mail addresses and then obviously use this information to send e-mails back.
The company doing my web hosting allows me to install PHPlist which I believe may be needed to make this process work, but that’s as much as I know. I’m after someone who can tell me if what I’m require is possible using the software I’m already using, and if it is, to give me instruction on how to do it or even do it for me.

What I require is someone to work with my friend to implement her ideas on design. Logo and colour scheme has already been decided. The website needs the following properties in order of importance:
1. Linking to a third party database where we will store our propriety videos.
2. A set up where it is easy for none technical users to add new pages as more videos are added
3. A private members section where select people can easily upload videos
4. A ratings/comment system for videos (facebook or another third party system will suffice initially)
The first 3 are essential, the 4th not as important initially.
I need to see examples of previous work, and a rough list of what you need to complete the project, and if the times lines are too ambitious. I am putting down $200 as an initial fixed price, but am open to negotiation on that if your previous work looks good. There may also be a longer term maintenance role associated with this website.

Our website http://GetSmokedOut.com is having issues with timthumb. There are a couple plugins on the site that uses Timthumb.
Most of the time when the site loads the thumbnails do not show. Other times they all load fine. We need to fix this issue. On the site the top right 3 thumbnails use timthumb.

The new logo & theme is for a blog I’m creating called, “The Weekly Achiever.” It is a motivation and personal development blog, directed toward an audience of people who want to improve all aspects of their lives: health, wealth, relationships, community and sprituality. The color combinations I’m interested are – purple, cobalt blue or navy blue and orange, yellow or gold. It might look good to add black or white outlines / highlights.
