I’m looking to rework the starter logo that we did for our site that is currently up and operating. The current site is http://www.sckidsactivities.com and the site is on its way to being a one stop shop for cheap or inexpensive things to do with your kids in the Charleston, South Carolina area.
This is a very much kid friendly site so the logo needs to have a “lightness” about it but it also needs to be modern and completely brand-able.
I have no particular thoughts about the design other than I want it to mesh perfectly with the site, and I want it to be memorable. This is going to play into those truly creative types out there completely.

I’m looking for someone experienced who can create a designer QR code in addition to a logo.
The main logo will be a “Q” and I’ll need different versions of it which will include blank space for various text to be displayed in the center such as “50% OFF”, a QR code to be placed in the center, and a plain format to display without those two elements.
The full company name should be included too and can be at the bottom or to the right, but I would primarily like to see how it looks in the descender portion of the “Q” to make printing and placement easier.
It should have clean lines, smooth colors, and look good in black & white as well. (do a Google image search for “Groupon G” or “Q logo” for some inspiration).
The QR part of the logo should be a size that can be scanned if printed and should be easy to scan with various QR scanner applications. This will be tested thoroughly so if you put any watermarks in that area you’ll need to make sure they’re not interfering with it prior to project completion. I would like various sizes for websites, business cards, and other material.
In regards to the “Q”, I’m open to any colors however would like to see what it looks like using the following two themes:
green, yellow, red, and blue (think Google Chrome & Windows)
red, white, and blue (not dark colors but something vivid without being neon)
I prefer to have all capitalized font with the Q and D larger. Once the designs have been picked I’ll need all rights to them.

In my samples attached, the QR code is very rough and doesn’t blend well with the logo. When creating the outer portion of the “Q” keep that in mind and if instead of a circle shape inside perhaps a square would look better?

I have a short 20 page ebook that I’d like to convert into a video. It’s a how to ebook and what the screencast would entail is walking the viewer through the process described in the book via video.
It would not be hard to do so, because the book would be your script, I’m looking for someone to produce high quality unique video products using powerpoint and screen recording software like Camtasia or Screencast-o-matic. This project shouldn’t take any longer than 45 minutes to someone whose experienced at screencasting.

I did a hardware reset on my server and since then it isn’t available. I contacted customer support and they told me to set it in safe mode and try to fix it through ssh. So I need somebody to be able to fix it and reconnect it.
I bought a template and would like to change the texts to Greek but when I write in Greek the text doesn’t show up. The problem seems to be in the css files (the used fonts don’t seem to allow greek characters). I would just like to use a simple font like Arial or Times New Roman that supports Greek characters or any other simple solution. This one should be an easy task. I am attaching the css files so you can have a look at it.

I have the website on both my local machine and a remote server. On the local machine, I installed an Apache server using an older WinLamp 4.0.0 that has PHP 4.4.9, mysql 5.0.92, Apache 2.0.58
The remote server has PHP 5 and mysql 5
I’m getting the Fatal error: Call to undefined function: scandir(), if I try to use that function on either the local machine or the remote server. So it would be easier just to leave that function out.
I’ve tried two simple php codes. The first one lists the folder and subfolder. It lists them alphabetically on the local machine, but does not list them alphabetically on the server.
I’ve tried another simple code that lists the folders alphabetically on both local and server, but only lists the main folder, and not subfolders.
I need a php code that does both, and I would like something I can just copy and paste into the page.

I recently installed PHP on my computer so I could use dreamweaver to update my website. When I tested the installation by going to “localhost” On my browser, I received an error. I know it has something to do with my website installation on my hosts site but I do not know how to fix it. Anyone out there able to fix this? My project will pay $15 USD.

I need to do a quick app to visualize some data. I need a quick professional visualization for the data. So basically design an interface that can represent the data in a meaningful way. Graphs are a bit old school so I’m not really that interested in them, this is pure social media data, so content from facebook, or twitter. I’m trying to represent what people are saying so that a user can see who’s talking about them, what they’re saying etc. Please see the attached file for a sample of the data I want to represent.
