WordPress Pages Need Fixed

My client’s wordpress site pages need to be fixed ( Should be easy fix)
1. I need the front Home page to be static (Don’t want anything to post to it (just want the front page to keep the Welcome text..
2. Need to post Videos or Articles to the Blog Video page only (right now when I try to post a video or article, it post to the front page and not the video page)
This is somewhat easy, so please know wordpress very well..
