2. Create a new admin page that allows the user to add or delete images from a folder called slideshow.

The importance of a graphical user interface in programming is paramount in being successful in the business industry. This project incorporates GUI techniques with other tools that you have learned about in this class.
Here is your assignment: You work for a Landscape architect. They have asked you to be a part of their team as they need a computer programmer, analyst, and designer to aid them in calculating engineering specification. Specifically, you have been assigned to the Pools, Hot Tubs and Spas section of their landscaping team. Your skills will be needed in creating a GUI program that calculates engineering specifications.
This assignment is due in Week 7, but it is suggested that you begin working on the final project assignment in Week 5, which should give you ample time to complete the project. You will find that all the lectures, Quick Test Programs, and Lab assignments will prepare you for the final project.
Analysis and Design

In week 4, you will complete the analysis and design for the project. You will use the information described in Chapter Two (pages 48-49) to create the Analysis and Design documentation. You will create the following items:

2. Problem Analysis
3. List and description of the requirements
4. Interface Storyboard/drawing
5. Design Flowchart or pseudo code

That’s a programming thing. You’ll need to contact them to have them resolve that.
Basically, what that means is that you’re trying to declare a function twice in the code. This could be due to loading includes twice, or something like that.

1) I have a website that has a wide variety of products that need to be added to a Magento catalog. I would like someone who is very experienced with Magento to analyzing all of the products that need to be added then:

a) Set up all of the attribute sets.
b) Adding sample products to each of the categories.
c) Provided a sample import spreadsheet so that all additional products can be entered easily.

This is a catalog with over 4000 products and a very wide variety, from 20+ different suppliers including area rugs with different sizes/colors and therefor prices to dining room tables, light switches, lighting etc

2) I want customers to know their shipping costs when checking out. Here’s the problem, a customer can be in Chicago, and they can order two different products from two different suppliers. So one product is shipped from New York City and the other from Los Angeles. One supplier uses FedEx the other uses DHL. We need to be able to caculate shipping costs for this. Some products may have handling fees as they are heavy items, some times might have flat shipping rates, others might be based on weight. We need a way to handle all of this in the checkout procedure.

I want someone who is familiar with what Magento is capable of handling out of the box, what current extensions are available to match these needs and someone who is capable of developing a custom extension to handle any short comings.

3) I want to make sure the site is loading as quick as possible and optimized to it’s highest ability (in terms of speed). I am aware of the Fooman Speedster extension, what I need is someone who knows further techniques of making sure a site with a lot of products and a lot of traffic can load quickly and efficiently.

I have a website. Which is using both Prototype and jQuery. I think there are two files with Prototype functions in it. I want the programmer to convert those functions to jQuery. And remove Prototype completly from the website.

We have a script at www.maths.ac that creates maths questions of the form $a+$b. A user can select different questions to make up an assessment and then create a pdf.

I’d like it so that the user has a choice to create a pdf with exactly the questions they chose (ie the very same numbers) or a random version of the pdf. Right now the script delivers a random version of the pdf each time so need the exact version adding.

For example, the preview may show ‘what is the square root of 9′ The user should now be able to regenerate if they don’t like the number and the new question may be ‘what is root 25′. If the user adds this question then they should have the option of creating the pdf with this very same question.
