The step by step guide must inclue all steps including what size images have to be, what the settings need to be in the back end etc.

The idx plugin used for displaying text for neighborhoods is displaying information but the formatting is very messy and not conforming to the theme.

There is an API that I’m integrating with and one of the weaknesses of it is that you can’t get a results count from a single query — it only returns 1000 results at a time, so you have to keep running the query, returning the next set of results until you get a set that is less than 1000 (so you know you’ve reached the limit).

I need a php script that can help determine how many results there are in the least amount of queries.

So for example, say there are 585,783 records (but I don’t know that to start with)

I will give the script a starting number like 500.

I will run my query to see how many results there are for page 500. If there are 1000 result (the max), then I know that it’s on a higher page, so the script should double that to 1000. I check page 1000 and see there are no results, so I know that is too high. So the script now needs to return the midpoint between 500 and 1000 … so I check to see if there are results for page 750. No result? Then I need the midpoint between 500 and 750 … and so on until I find a midpoint number the returns results greater than 0 but less than 1000.

This way rather than having to run the API script 585 times, I run it through only 8 times (in this example)

try 500 = greater
try 1000 (500 * 2) = less
try 750 (midpoint btwn 500 and 1000) = less
try 625 (midpoint btwn 500 and 750) = less
try 563 (midpoint, rounded, btwn 500 and 625) = more
try 594 (midpoint, rounded, btwn 563 and 625) = less
try 579 (you get the point) = more
try 585 (BINGO … results for this page are 783 … greater than zero, less than 1000)

So I’ll provide the starting number and the number of results from that query, then this script needs to provide me with a new number to try. I would like to be able to use this within a ‘while’ statment so my query repeats until it finds the result.

I am currently developing a e commerce website and have identified a company who will dropship products (Smiffys.com). As part of the contract i will need to set up integration with their site.

I require full integration with the client and this will enable the site to automatically update categories/themes, products, costs and stock details every hour.

the integration should enable the clients site remove obsolete stock etc.

Once a product on my site has been purchased and payment recieved, my site will need to automatically send a detailed XML file to Smiffys enabling the to dispatch goods.

I will need to be able to manually adjust details if required and i will need to be able to add my own products to the site and manage these separately as these will not be stocked by Smiffys

My site is currently set up using Joomla and has JooCart (OpenCart) installed as a component.

This is my first attempt at ecommerce and funds are limited so I am keen for this to be done right first time and the use of scriptlance comes on good recommendation.

If possible the RSS feed should be able to do the following -

- Display all jobs.
- Display the jobs based on a keyword search (i.e. go to Parttimejobs.ie and search for something using the keyword box).
- Display the jobs based on a category search (i.e. go to Parttimejobs.ie and click on one of the job categories).
- Display the jobs based on a keyword search and category search (i.e. go to Parttimejobs.ie and search for something using the keyword box and select a category from the category list box).

In the above 4 items, the RSS feed must be aware of the “Exclude agencies” checkbox, i.e. whether it is checked or not.

And finally -

- Display the jobs based on an advanced search (i.e. go to Parttimejobs.ie/search/advanced/ and do an advanced search. All search options must be useable in the RSS feed).

I have a WordPress site in development (using the Headway theme) for a client, and the problems I am having with IE 6 and IE 7 are stumping me. The site is http://intentionalnetworker.com/ (what you see there is a temporary under construction page. NOTE: unless you are logged in, you can not see the true home page (where we’re having the browser difference problems). I will provide login information to the chosen bidder.

Deliverables are:
Working within the restrictions of the Headway WordPress theme:
- Find a solution that will prevent the right column from moving around on the page in all browsers.
- When a user scrolls the page smaller (using CTRL + scroll down), in some browsers (Firefox is one of them), that also causes the right column to move around. I want this locked down so that the column doesn’t move in any browser if the user makes the page content smaller.

Note that Headway doesn’t allow you to edit the usual WordPress files. They say: “Do NOT modify any core Headway files (anything but custom.css and the custom folder is a core file).” You can use hooks, however, if that is helpful.
