A. Create a redirect script for affiliate program. What I want to achieve is:
1. Be able to use a person’s name or chosen word as part of a url. For example, mysite. com/yournameoryourchosenword.html. I want this instead of the mysite dot com/affiliate/redir.php?oid=1001 code (or #oid=1001 or ?oid=1001) at the end. So, if a person goes to the web and enters in mysite. com/yournameorchosenword.html it will redirect to their affiliate code from the program. This way, a person can have their shorter url on their business card (besides in a text or banner ad) that would have the code in it.
2. There should be some way for the system to recognize if their ‘chosen word’ has previously been chosen when a person signs up. Then, give a message to the user that the username has already been taken so they can choose a different name.
3. You will have to edit an existing form in order asking the user for what desired URL they want, and do whatever work required to achieve this redirect feature.
B. Add an email verification program so when a user enters in their email address, an email is automatically sent to the customer’s email which requires them to click on a link in it to verify it was from that person’s email account. This can be done through autoresponders to 3 different forms we have for different category of signups. You may have to create the autoresponders and do necessary work to make this email verification program/script to work. (Note: program already has autoresponder options in place.)

This site is done in AJAX and JAVA so there may be need to provide for the running of the scripts to get some info.
