We are a sport photography agency. We shoot sport organizations in school and the like and then sells the pics as packages to parents and kids.

We have 60+ templates made in photoshop that we work with. Each picture has to be inserted in a template, centered on the subject, color balanced and then personnalized with the name, team category, year, etc. (an attachment of a final product is available).

We provide the templates (made with photoshop CS3), a list of names with corresponding jpeg number and the jpegs, all on a ftp. Your job is to insert the jpeg in the template and then personnalized. Your outpout is a photoshop file that will be put on a ftp. We have jobs ranging from 12 to 750 templates to prepare. We did 3500 templates this year and growing to 5000+ next year (a year is from august to june for us). We need fast turnovers and a pricing per item. Average time per template to prepare is 1 to 1.5 minutes.

I am looking for an experienced Android app developer to create an Android app that allows users to browse, search and download our online database of ringtones (including the option to play them), notification sounds, ebooks and wallpapers (with more categories potentially to add).
We basically want our app to have the same features and functionality as the Zedge app with the addition of user comments, but incorporating our design (attached). Please see the Zedge app available via Google Market.

Like the Zedge app, users will NOT be required to log in to search / browse / download***, however I want a user login option in order to synchronize a users favourites added outside the application (via the web). Additionally, we want a like/dislike button on the download information pages (only for those users who are logged in).

The “main activitiy” of the app, like Zedge, will contain a list of categories with a bottom menu (Home, Downloads, Favourites, More). These categories will direct the user to a gallery page which is laid out according to the category. Wallpapers need to be listed in grid form, Ringtones in list form.
Pressing the phone menu button will provide a menu exactly the same as what Zedge provide.

When a user downloads or favourites an item, this information needs to be synchronized with the users’ online account (if they are logged in). The information also needs to be stored on their device and available in the “Downloads” and “Favourites” menu in the main activity.

The app will be communicating with a PHP/MySQL backend, which with some liaising, I can build. Please PM details of the REST method and format you intend on using for response data. I am most familiar with JSON.

Here are the essential elements: 1. The basic design will be from the premium template on this site (http://www.pagelines.com/themes/platformpro/) and built on a WordPress base which, ideally will have a fairly easy to use back end.
We would the user experience to be similar to the following:
Step One: Similar to the experience on www.secondlife.com the new user would click onto our new site and be able to choose from several fairly generic avatars. They will be broken into six main categories based on the type of employment in our particular industry. For now the avatars need only show these basic classifications, later we will want to add additional customizability.
Step Two: After choosing an avatar, just like secondlife.com the user will be directed to the same clean interface to register for a free account. Based on which avatar they have chosen, some of the fields will auto complete and they will be directed to a semi-customized profile (i.e., the student will have a slightly different home page from the trainer and so on.)
Step Three: After they check into the site they can set up their new account. We want to make it as simple and fun as possible for them to upload a photo, answer some basic questions (any of which they should have the option to skip), some preferences (ie which apps they would like to appear on their dashboard), and to import their email into our email processor. Automatic Registration:

Allow the administrator to create the (category) and insert an email address and hit submit to invite users to join the networking group and edit their own profile under that category.
