After posting various project for redoing some coding and making a new banner…I think that I’ve come to the conclusion that possibly redoing the whole site could be the way to go. We are going to be focusing more on our online presence compared to doing in person trade shows/etc. While I do like our site and I personally have put a lot of work into it…there are issues with it…its not perfect (and not perfect from an SEO standpoint either). And i feel even if i redesigned the site myself…it would have the same issues (if not more, haha). So I figured I’d post one big project on here and see what people think/bid/etc. I will try to be as specific as possible.

There are 10 pages to the site (all will have the same design/etc, just different info on each page). I still want something simple, easy on the eyes, easy to navigate, and easily viewable on ipads (or any pad), and smartphones. Color scheme I would like to stay the same, with maroon, white, silver and gold.

Depending on how the site is setup…there will probably be some type of banner/logo at the top…I want to use specific fonts for the logo and slogan…as far as the rest of the banner…depending how it looks…pictures from the site can be incorporated into it or something just to give it more substance.

Even though I have 10 link options…I can make that number smaller if you’re able to put a drop down menu on some of the links (I can group some of them under one heading as long as theres a drop down menu)…I can probably narrow it down to 5-6 or so main links with the rest under those links.

I want the coding up to date with current standards (no tables), I would like a CSS file…and i want it simple…good SEO also (this is A BIG thing, SEO is very important to us) I want to be able to go into the site myself (I have Dreamweaver) and edit text, post new pictures, move things around, etc. I dont want the site to be all one big image cut up into smaller pieces and put together. No CMS either.

I currently have coding on there so that when a picture is clicked it pops up on the screen, I would like to keep that. Also in the near future I’m going to be embedding some YouTube videos…so I want to be able to do that on the potential new site.

I would also like to feature our social media links/etc more than they are now (with a possible option to like/fave/follow us right from our site).

We currently have a form customers can submit to us (on our contact page), right now a 3rd party site processes it/etc. I would like to have it so it will process directly on our site and sent to me.

That covers a lot of stuff…I’m sure I am forgetting something…so please check this often for any updates/etc.

This website will need to have a disclosure pop up when someone goes to the page. They will have to “AGREE” or “DISAGREE” to get into the page.

There will also need to be a page on the site where a person will have to register to get past the page they are on and further into the site. The first few pages will NOT have to have this registration function but this registration function will have to occur at some point if the visitor wants more info.
