9)There needs to be a custom admin control panel created where we can edit/add/manage all users and subscriptions with the ability to pause/delete/remove/extend subscription.

12) There needs to be a registration page where the user will download a 30 day trial for the software and then after 30 days they will be required to purchase the software license in order for the software to be active again.

It will only be used for client security but to be sure you can do it we have a testing domain that you need to hack so we can be sure you are the one we are looking for. This is a relatively large project for us and it requires talent from you.

We are operating ancient, 1990′s vintage forum software written in perl. Remarkably, it saves its data to flat files. The software has most of the usual forum features: profiles, image uploads, form-based email to authors, etc. I have attached one page of sample code as well as one flat file which contains real forum data.

The project is as follows:

1. Replace the flat file storage method with storage in mysql.

2. Revise the existing code to (a) connect to a mysql database, (b) write new forum posts to a mysql table, and (c) write profiles to a mysql table.

3. Revise the existing code to read all forum menus, forum posts, and profiles from the mysql table.

4. Scrape approximately existing 800,000 flat files and save the data to a mysql table. All files are in exactly the same format as the one attached.

This is a fairly complex project and I do not expect you to estimate it based on the information posted here. Please examine the attached files and PM me with your qualifications and any questions. I will send the complete perl code to a subset of interested programmers, as well as a link to see the live forum. Based on that information I would like a bid.

I am looking to hire a firm or an individual that can get my project up and running in a cost effective, but in a well done way.

I want to build a webapp where people can make a profile using the facebook connect, and/or twitter api. As well as just make a simple account without those social networks. Giving users 3 possible ways to log in.

When they log in, I would like a dashboard. Which gives users the ability to enter a trade or current position in a stock. Also, the dashboard should show their current portfolio value, % of money invested in the stock market, and a nice looking graph to show the performance of their portfolio.

If the user selects “enter trade”, they will enter the stock symbol, enter price, quantity, commision, stop loss, target. I would then like the site to pull the chart of the stock they are trading, and on the chart put points of interest of where they entered, exited, stop loss and their target. This will take finding a source of raw stock data and building a chart.

Back on the dashboard I would like some square tiles layed out with the company logo of the stock being traded. Then the user can click the tile to edit the data of the trade, or close it out.

From there some simple calucations will be made- profit and loss, profitable trade % etc.

Having stock market experience or an interest in the market is a big plus.

The look of this application should be extremely simple, but professional.

Here is how you check to see if a website is listed in the dmoz.org index.

You navigate to this URL:

For the above URL that is listed, when you arrive at that URL, you’ll notice if you view the source code, that dnsboss.com is inside of an href attribute…in other words, there is a live clickable link on that page that leads to dnsboss.com. The live link appears as http://www.dnsboss.com even though the URL you’ve visited to check doesn’t have the “www” in front of dnsboss.com. Some will have the “www” and some won’t have the “www” in the live link.

This is a very small project, I have a script that pulls the IP address and user agents from the SHOUTcast DNAS, This does work, it lists each listener’s IP and information, but I need the data split up, something like

Task Tracking Software

Software to track a training task for each person of the department.

There will be multiple departments, each department will have its own training tasks. Training task will be added by the administrator; and will be added for all the users in that department.

1) Administrator

- Add/Edit/Delete – Department (Example Department 1, Department 2, Department 3)
- Add/Edit/Delete – USER
- Create/Edit/Delete – Task (this task will be inputed for every USER created within that department.)
- Search by Name/Completed task/Uncompleted task/Due date/Location
- Generate reports of Name/Completed task/Uncompleted task/Due date/Location

The training task will also have to perform in a way where the administrator can search for any task (By Name, Completed Task, Uncompleted Task, Due Date, Location, By Date.) not mark completed. An alert will notify any task not completed by an USER near the due date (which will be set in the admin panel, example alert will notify admin X amount of days. X amount of days is set in the admin panel.)

We believe that we need to make a browser script, either using curl or lynx, that will login to Joomla and execute a particular function. We have been told that Joomla will deny any attempts by a function outside of the Joomla framework to do this. It might be possible to make jCron do this but it’s not obvious how that would work.

Additionally, the person hired for this MUST have experience with installing packages on a linux machine. There appears to be a broken install of one of the hwdvideoshare requirements, maybe flvtool or something, and for some reason this is making a curl call in our script hang.
