I want a custom blogging software written. It must have a similar feel as wordpress. users must be able to sign up and post comments, no anonymous comments. users must activate their account via a link sent in an email. There will only be one admin and that must be created when the script is installed.

The script must be able to create/edit blog posts, BB code is a must for this section to make it easy for authors to use.

I have a PHP script that scrapes data from search engines. I need the following edits peformed.

1. Sometimes the queries take a while and standard server timeout settings cause the script to timeout prematurely. I need someone to edit the script so that it doesn’t timeout with standard server settings. (which timeout after around 1 minute)

2. I need a variable added so that users can edit a text file to define which country version of a search engine they want to scrape. For example they could change Google.com to Google.co.uk

3. In addition, I have a second PHP script which does something similar. I need this 2nd script’s code integrated as a separate tab in the first script’s interface. No edits are necessary other than taking the code of the 2nd script and making it accessible from the interface of the first script.

A bit about current setup :-

The website in question here is for a dance tv show like so you think you can dance. It hosts episodes videos, individual contestants, news and pictures.It is currently using simply categories to differentiate the content.

Now the redesign will include creating custom post types/taxonomies/meta boxes for adding episodes/contestants/individual performances/judges and etc. I have the already purchased “Easy Custom Content Types” for setting those up but need someone who has previously worked on it to draw a very scalable layout for the content so it is not a problem to add/remove/edit episodes/contents and etc in future.
