Summary:
Add a prepared picture to the facebook landing page for visitors to
“like” the page. (become a fan.)

Next, make a page to house the prepared art and create the
corresponding form fields to save to a spreadsheet when clicking
“submit”.

Finally, make a page to house the prepared art that says “thank you”
before the visitor is then able to view the joined page.

Relevant files and information,
Make a file on my server to record all of the data from each user that
is entered into the form fields. (generic spreadsheet file preferred.)
*note: All public referenced pages that will be hosted on my server
(this should only be three documents) must be written clearly (don’t
nest all the code up messy, in case I have to make changes), in
standards-compliant .html or .php with valid .css

Provide basic instructions for transferring my sweepstakes-test-page
to deploy on my clients page. (Make it on my account exactly as it
will go on my clients account. My client will view it on my test page
for approval and tell me when to make it live.)

Specifically: Three placements. The offer, the form, the thank you.

1st – The offer
Add one page, with an already prepared and web optimized image to
function as a clickable picture (that reads “the first 1000 people to
like us, will receive item X”) to the the landing page viewed by a
visitor who has not already “liked” the page.
This offer is intended to be shown when a visitor arrives at the
facebook business page, who has not already become a fan (The idea is
to entice them to “like” the page with a give away offer.)

2nd – The form
Once someone “likes” the page;
Then, the same visitor will see (either in a popup window or within
the facebook page housing), a form to enter their shipping address for
the free item. The form layout, art and ‘submit’ button is prepared. I
need the form fields to be encoded in a way that saves the data to an
accessible spreadsheet file on my server. (PHP will work, but I’m not
against using jquery or something else)

3rd – The thank you
After submitting, provide a page showing the thank you image, before
sending the visitor to the, now joined, fan page.

About the sweepstakes offer;
This project is very similar to what is on the foxcarolinanews
sweepstakes fanpage on facebook.
All art is prepped for web and ready, all the fields needed on the
contact form are known and copy is approved.
I have created the app in facebook for the project, it is at the
default settings. I understand what is needed to publish the media and
what needs to happen to save the participating visitor’s info in a
spreadsheet.

I Provide:
- The image for the 1st “like us to get..” page, the image for the
“thank you page”
The image and layout for the “enter your mailing address” page.
- Administrative access to develop my test page in facebook.
- FTP access to my server to deploy the PHP SDK (if needed) and create
the appropriate files.
- Myself for phone, gmail chat, and email communication anytime you need me.

You Provide:
- The working model on my test page in facebook. (exactly what I will
use on my clients page)
- Instructions on how to deploy this model on my clients facebook
page. (Basic instructions, I know how to do most of it.) Including any
relevant permissions settings etc.
- Provide the name of the spreadsheet file (or easy-to-read text file)
that will save the form data. This file must be in generic
spread-sheet format or a file type that is easy for my client to take
the individual’s contact information.

- Video record allowed of max 5 minutes based on session id received on connect (query in mysql db to retrieve user name based on session id).
- Video playback based on session id sent on connect (query in db to check if the session is valid)
- Video session (chat) based on session id (query on db to check if the session matches the users – each video session has a specific start time and end time, must check if the session is scheduled at the time of the request – also, limit the session to two hours).

I want to add a facebook widget to my affiliate site
so when a member post a comment using the “comment”
widget form, it will link to their affiliate link
and not the main domain. Right now I have the
comment widget installed to my members area, but, I
notice that when they make a posting to recommend it
to their friends, its showing the main website link
and not their affiliate link so they aren’t getting credit
for the referrals. I tried replacing my website link with
my affiliate tag {aff_link}, but, it looks like the widget
just recognizes the site it’s coming from and not
the affiliate code.

We’re looking to use a Pen scanner collect data from tax documents to be processed in a tax manager software.

The strings we’re working with are made of 46 characters. Each string has 4 parts. We use the C-Pen www.cpen.com to scan the text and have it sent to the computer.

The thing is not all of the characters in the string is necessary in the software. There’s a 3 step process we need to do:

1- Scan with C-Pen OCR scanner
2- Have specific characters validated to make sure data is correct
3- Extract the needed data and have it inserted in the TAX MANAGER SOFTWARE.

CPen usually scans anywhere the mouse is pointing. I wish this would be possible by going through the verification process.

You are required to create a Qt application with which the data stored in a database can be viewed in 3 different ways. More details below.

The application mainly stores these things in its database:

1- Student First Name
2- Student Last Name
3- Mark Percentage
4- Grade (A, A+,…F)

The application should present these data stored, in three different ways for the user:

First view: Table with 4 columns showing the data; same columns in database.
Second View: Bar Chart with grade range in the x-axis (A, A+,…F ) and number of students in the y-axis.
Third View: Pie Chart, showing same data as Bar chart, i.e grades and number of students.

The user should be able to edit a student First Name, Last Name and Grade.

The GUI can be very simple as long as it has a menu to choose the three views from.

You can use SQLite as a database for the application.

This is a school assignment so I’m not expecting anything big or fancy.
