I want to reduce the byte size of images uploaded to my website.
Example:
A user uploads a 3MB image. I want the php code to reduce the byte size of the image to 600k.
If a user uploads an image of under 600k, then that image size will not be changed.
The dimesions of the image should not be changed.

Looking to convert my current shopping comparison site to a WordPress powered shopping comparison site. Needs to accept data or XML feeds from Amazon, ebay, Shopzilla, Linkshare and Commission Junction feeds. Looking to have the same look feel as www.shopping.com. I would like to automate the process of the updating of products from said above vendors through datafeeds and/or xml feeds. CJ and Linkshare offer datafeeds I believe. The others offer XML feeds.
I already have my design, so that already set. Just need the CMS and datafeeds/XML automation to be integrated and setup.

This way, a person can have their url on their business card besides following a text or banner ad that would have the code in it.
2. There should be some way for the system to recognize if their ‘chosen word’ has previously been chosen when a person signs up. Then, give a message to the user that the username has already been taken so they can choose a different name.
B. Add an email verification program so when a user enters in their email address, an email is automatically sent to the customer’s email which requires them to click on a link in it to verify it was from that person’s email account. This email request form is already in place which also emails the information to a specific email address.
C. Assist with site replication which is provided already in the program. Some files need to be edited so the replicaton will work.

We have a site that is about 90% complete.
WE HAVE LIVE EXAMPLES/TEMPLATES FOR “ALMOST” EVERYTHING THAT WE’RE REQUESTING IN THIS PROJECT
It is a Lead Gen Site with 3 pages of forms that have ALREADY been coded to send data to iContact AND a lead distribution system.
The problem: Two out of the three pages of forms need to be completed. The forms were designed to collect data and depending on the answers given, expose more questions (conditional logic). Some of the questions trigger 6 or so fields to open up that have “already been filled” with the contact data from the first page.
One of the two pages has this function partially completed. So you would only need to complete this functionality for both pages.
We also need you to code the form validation for two index pages that have already been coded in html. One form has two fields and the other has six. We’ll then need this input data to go into iContact and into the lead distribution system. We already have this complete on a few other “test” pages, so the hard work has been done – you have a template already.
We’ll then need you to code the last two pages for the data of the “slide open fields” to go into the lead distribution system. We have some examples for you to follow on this also.
We’ll also need the tracking links to be set up on the site and a redirect “bug” found and corrected. For someone who knows what they’re doing, this part should only take minutes. The last “programmer” could not figure out how to stop the site from redirecting back to the index page. He blamed the tracking redirects, but it does it without the tracking links in there.
The majority of this project has been done for you on other pages of the site.
What we need: Someone who knows what they’re doing. We’ve already lost a lot of money paying for people to experiment on our site.
Getting us set up quickly is definitely a plus for someone who is good and fair to us. There will plenty of part time jobs for the right person.
