I have a Joomla 1.5 site with RS Form Pro setup to process enquiries and send email notifications to the admin & user. This is working fine but we need an additional parameter added to the admin email so we can identify the original source of the enquiry (i.e. where they were before they hit the site)

I need to be able to add a line to the admin emails to automatically add the original source of the enquiry (e.g. Adwords/Email Newsletter/Search/Referring URL) so we need to add some code to the template so on the first visit some sort of cookie is set and when the rsform submits it adds that additional field to the admin email. If its easier we can just add the original referring URL which we can capture on the first page visit, if there is any other method im open to ideas.

We can tag all links on email newsletters with UTM_Source=Email parameter so that should be trackable, adwords obviously has its own URL params passed to the site so hopefully that is trackable too.

I would like to update prices in a database (part of Joomla/Virtuemart). I uploaded the new prices to a table “jos_entra_prijs” (see update.png). The prices that need to be updated are in “jos_vm_product_price” (see price.png) The two tables can be linked via “jos_vm_product” (see product.png).

I had two projects to post, but as I’m getting no feedback from Support as to whether I need to post these separately or not I’ll save the hassle and post them both together.

The project is in two parts. I need an application which checks if a link is present in the webpage URL in Column A (does not attempt to get RSS feed from Feedage). This is only for checking if the link exists at all in the original host webpage. This could be for heavy usage, such as checking as many as 3,000 web pages or more in Column A in the same file. The time pauses should be the same (though in practice it should complete quicker because there are no RSS feeds to get).

Then:

Part Two:

Build multi-threading version of RSS-getting application (original project), OR build several web-based clones of these to run at the same time. I need to be able to run 10 of these simultaneously. There are probably a number of ways to do this. Can I log into Feedage as a different identity for each run? Or are there other sites I can use as well as Feedage to get the RSS feed?

On the multi-threaded version, when it makes an RSS feed it pastes it in Column C as before. But every 20 RSS feeds that it finds it then copies all of them (the 200 rss feeds in Column C) and puts them into http://www.rssmix.com and processes this to get one RSS feed (simply paste all 20 URLs into the box and click on Create: the result opens in a new window). It then pastes the resultant RSS feed URL in Column D to the right of the last rss feed in Column C which it has used for this. It does this every 20 RSS feeds that it finds. (If there is anything in Column D it is overwriiten, so from now on I will leave nots and any other information about the project in Column F, and also the first few rows of the file.)

(NOTE: When I look at the RSSMix URLs in a browser there don’t seem to be any cinks there, because the body of the feed itself does not seem to be visible. Perhaps you could suggest a solution to this.)

At the end of the file there will probably be less than 20 RSS feeds from Feedage left over. So the application takes these (which have not been put into RSSMix before) and puts them into http://www.rssmix.com and pasets the output RSS feed into Column D to the right of the final RSS feed from Feedage.

The application then copies all the feeds from http://www.rssmix.com it has made and pastes them all into one block, one above the other.

This is a very very quick project if you are an yelp API expert thus only taking minutes to finish. Please note that in order to be considered for this project you must have previously worked on yelp api and must provide links to those yelp projects as a proof.

Currently, our yelp api script currently matches all business attributes (business name, business phone, latitude/longitude etc) to return reviews + ratings. We want following things changed:

FRONT:
We have a page where we show all the images along with the name of the person in the image. Under the image you have a “Hot” | “Not” button to vote. Under the voting buttons we show the score of the images. Under the score, we have a comments section to either view or leave a comment.
A visitor can only vote for a picture once per 30 days. I want the main image to open with a lightbox effect. If the comments can also work inside a lightbox effect that would be good, only want one page for the front end.

Looking simple script that will import freshly scrapped business listings info from one table to my database table.

The script should import & update all the information from the scrapped table into the proper tables in my database.
This includes the matching of the correct categories , transfer of the correct hours of operation, and import of default hours where applicable.
I have some existing code that may assist you in the making of the script.

The script is supposed to update my database by searching for a match in Business title and postal code and if a match is not found the listing would be added as a new listing.
