I am trying to migrate a website from one host to another. The original host was using plesk for the hosting service the new host is cpanel. I have a full backup of the site and the sql database sitting up on the new host but am not able to get the DB to load on the new host the website is a modified WP install. Problem: Comets
The software company you’re working for is developing a game named Comets that is essentially a clone of an old popular arcade game. The player controls a spaceship that floats around in two-dimensional space propelled by its engines and carried by its inertia. Comets are also floating around in the same space. Anything that goes off one side of the screen re-emerges on the opposite side. The player’s goal is to destroy all of the comets without colliding with any of them. The situation is complicated somewhat by the fact that shooting larger comets causes them to break into several smaller comets, thus making them more difficult to avoid.
A basic game interface is already written, so you don’t need to worry about drawing anything on the screen or responding to the player pressing buttons. All you need to do is write classes to represent the various objects in the game. All classes are to be located in the package “comets”. JavaDoc specifications for these classes are provided on WebCourses (along with a few other important files), but here’s a general outline:
SpaceObject is an abstract class representing all of the objects in game, including the comets, bullets fired by the player, and even the player’s ship. This should keep track of the position, velocity, and size of the object. It provides methods for updating the object’s position based on its velocity, determining whether the object is overlapping with another object, and accessors for the object’s position and size. SpaceObject has static fields for the playfield width and height that are set up by the main class and should be used to determine the size of the play area for wrap-around purposes.
Shot objects represent shots fired by the player. Shots should only stay on the screen for a certain length of time, so they have an age counter that increments every time the shot is told to move. The main class will take care of removing the shot from the game based on this age.
Comet is an abstract class representing comets. LargeComet, MediumComet, and SmallComet all extend Comet. Large comets break into two medium comets when shot, and medium comets break into three small comets. Small comets are destroyed outright by being shot. Every comet has an explode() method that returns a Vector containing newly created comets that are produced by their destruction, although SmallComet should return an empty vector since it doesn’t spawn additional comets.
Ship represents the player’s spaceship. The ship has a direction that it is facing that it uses to figure out the change in velocity when it accelerates, as well as the trajectory of the shots it fires. A ship has methods to turn left, turn right, accelerate, and fire shots. The fire() method returns a Shot object that originates from the center of the ship and travels in the direction that the ship is facing, adjusted, of course, for the ship’s own velocity. An important note about acceleration: Even though in real space objects can basically travel arbitrarily fast, it wouldn’t be much fun if the ship travels so fast that you can’t see it. Limit the maximum speed of the ship to 10 pixels per frame (i.e. per move()). That’s fast enough for the game to be exciting, but not so fast that it’s impossible to follow the ship.
CometsMain is already provided as part of this assignment via WebCourses. The classes you write MUST be compatible with CometsMain in its original form. CometsMain isn’t very good, unfortunately. Up to 25 points of extra credit are available on this assignment for making substantial improvements to CometsMain. Contact the professor with your ideas to see how much extra credit it would be worth.
A configuration file named “comets.cfg” should be placed in the root directory of the project. This gives the initial layout of the comets. Each line in the file describes a comet. The string at the start of the line specifies the size of the comet (“Large”, “Medium”, or “Small”), the two numbers after that are the position of the comet (x and y coordinate), and the last two numbers are its velocity.

I am looking for a custom php script registration/poll script to be built and installed that allows us dynamically add to or edit survery/registration form. This means that we will be able to add new questions to the registration form and choose whether they are text fields, drop downs, check boxes or radio buttons added to the form and whether those options appear in the poll or not as well as thier order in the list..
For example:
In the admin panel we need buttons to “add” and “edit” or “remove” Fields.
We could click an add a new field button. This would then allow us to choose whether we want a text field, text box, drop down, radio button group or a check box group. If we choose dropdown, radio, or check box group a field will come up allowing us to name the field group. Then we can add as many of dropdown, radio or check box variables to the field that we want and give their value and name.
If we add a text field or a text box we would have the option to name the text field or text box. These can be a set size to simplify things.
When we add or edit fields whether they are text boxes, text fields, dropdowns, radio button groups, or check box groups, we also need to be able to organize them in order using a dynamic drop down box that would give us the choice to put them in the order such as “at the top” and “below name field” and “below address field” or whatever fields we have already created.
When we add checkbox, dropdown, or radio button fields in the add or edit field page in the admin panel it will also give us a little check box that will allow this field group to be included in the poll. If we check that box when creating a new field group it would calculate the totals and show the data in poll data output page.
When we have this form the way we want it, via the administration panel, we will make it visible on the site for people to register.
When someone fills out the form it would store the register users information in a database. When someone registers it will use captcha to cut down on spam entries.
As mentioned above, second part of this will be an poll output or data page. This will display the poll calculations. Each field will have it’s own pie graph. For example if we create a field that says “how did you hear about us?” The radio buttons or dropdowns we choose to add may be tv, google, a friend, etc.. That will mean on the poll data page it will show a pie graph or bar graph that shows all the options that people have selected for the field. So if no one selects “google” in the poll, then google will not show up in the pie graph or bar graph. The only things that people select in the poll will appear in the bar or pie graph. It will need to give exact percentage totals for each choice for that field group.
THE REGISTRATION:
Once someone registers it is recorded to a database. We would like a page that displays all the registrations and sort them by the text fields added to the registration form in the order they display on the registration form. Text boxes and the poll fields are not included in this. We need this to show them sorted in a table. If we click a field at the top it will sort in alphebetical order according to that field.. Design an original logo to illustrate a baseball splashing into water. (A splash hit is a homerun baseball hit out of a baseball stadium into the water. In Major League Baseball (MLB) in North America this only happens commonly at AT&T Park in San Francisco, California. McCovey Cove is the body of water outside the stadium over the right field wall). The logo will be printed onto a baseball using a pad printer. The image will be dark on a white background. Adobe Illustrator will be used to output the image to create a film positive for creating the plate for printing. See the attached All Star Game logo for concept ideas. The attach MLB logo is printed on MLB baseballs in a single dark blue color. Instead of this MLB logo the Splash Hit logo will be used.

This is a modification to Joomsocial (1.5.248) on Joomla (1.5.15) and a Component called SIMGallery. SIMGallery allows for photo tagging of users, the settings can be changed from allowing registered users to tag photos or not, users can only tag their friends on their own photos.
This project needs to do the following:
- Ability to ONLY allow ADMINs to Tag photos, even if they don’t have a friendship with any user on the site.
- Admin can tag users either by username or email. Setting can be done on the admin side.
This is what we need for now, let us know if you can do it. Only experience programers please.

e-card website update / design.
I’m looking for someone who has excellent html skills to update my small ecard website to bring it into 2010 (web 2.0).
This update can include some changes but I would prefer
if we keep them minimal. This project will consist of making about about 5 web page templates.
Possibly more? We can discuss this in the pmb. I’m open to suggestions for how to make this site look and function better then it currently does. We can discuss your ideas on the pmb.

Here is a list of what this website needs.
template 1 home page, The home page should be updated with new features (web 2.0)
template 2 categories page (used for all the categories of ecards such as birthday wedding)
template 3 ecards (this page is used for all of the flash ecards on the site)
template 4 site map
template 5 basic page for forums contact info, blogging, etc.
These new templates must be easy to update when I add new cards. Right now the website is very hard to update.
I currently use dreamweaver or a basic notepad to do updates. If dreamweaver is required to
update, you must provide detailed instructions on how to update the site to add new cards, news, etc.
We can talk freely on the pmb about your ideas of what we can do to make this ecard site more
up to date with new features. such as integration with social networking sites such as twitter, facebook, blogs etc.
Payment info, To show you I am serious about this project, I will post
50% of your bid price in escrow for you right now when you are selected.
You can work on the site on your server or mine. I can provide you with ftp access
if needed to upload content.
You will be paid 100% of your bid price when you are finished. You can rest assured,

We have minor edits to do to an xml document. This is a simple cut and paste data entry project. You will need to use notepad for this project. We will send you the necessary files needed for this project
You need to be accurate and give us a list of any problems you had so we can check them.
You must use Yahoo IM OR Skype Chat for immediate communications.

1. Exchange Yahoo or Skype Chat info and time zone info.
2. Review the list of edits.
3. Ask any questions you have by IM or Skype Chat.
4. Make the edits to ONE record, and IM or Skype Chat us as soon as you are done so we can check it.
