Help To Define My Application

The application drive letter can be defined and printed on an HTML page of my eBook (eBookcode.com) by using the following code
[={appdrive}]:
But this only works on an html.htm files, and NOT in other file types like an XML file.
I really need the application drive letter to be printed into the XML file so I can create a path to a file on the SAME application drive (but outside the ebook).
Because the variable value needs to be used in the XLM file (located in the same folder / as the html page) is it possible
