I have a main real estate site (on Windows Server with ASP.NET available) with it’s own primary domain. Property searches are handled via a subdomain of the primary domain on a third party IDX (MLS Property search site.)

To have Google pick up the property listings from some pre-defined searches and ‘credit’ them to my domain, as if they were located on the main site, I want to have an .aspx page under the primary domain that will use the ASP.NET webrequest object to:

1. Retrieve a specified URL (which already has the property search parameters in it)

2. Parse out the section of the retrieved HTML that has the property listing data in it. (I’ve already placed <!– Startcomment –> and <!– Endcomment > comments in the html at the beginning and end of the section to pulled out of the body on the URL to be retrieved.

3. Place the parsed html into the appropriate section of the aspx page requesting the URL.

In effect, the aspx page on www.mymaindomain.com will be a duplicate of the page being requested at subdomain.mydomain.com.

The URL to retrieve and parse, e.g. http://subdomain.mydomain.com/newpropertylistings.html should be hard coded in the script code in the head section on the requesting .aspx page, so I can save copies of the page under other page names, e.g. propertypull2.aspx, propertypull3.aspx, etc., and change the URL to pull from that’s in the head section each new page. (I can do that in Dreamweaver.) I want the URL that is to be requested and parsed to be in each page, and not in some ASP.NET project variable to be pulled in to the page.

I do NOT need to store the retrieved html (or associated photos) on the main site (.e.g parse the html into a database). When the requesting aspx page is clicked, it can run the code to retrieve the latest data from the page being requested from the subdomain site. Also, at this point I am not looking for a replacement function for relative links being pulled over. (Most of the links coming over are fully qualified.)

There is no page design involved, just the C# ASP.NET coding on the page to make it work. I expect this to be fairly simple. My webhost is Webhost4life, with ASP.NET 3.5 available. I only need the one page done. I’ll dupe that page as I need, if I want to bring bring new groups of properties over to the main page. I have the aspx page “designed”, ready to plug in the aspx code.

i have a small Drupal website which sells 1 book. In my country people prefer to pay to the postmen or directly to bank account. So I am offering them the order option through Webform module: http://drupal.org/project/webform. I would like to add the affiliate program to webform module. Something like Post Affiliate Pro but not so fancy. Often happens that people order something but then they forget about it or don’t pay for it. That’s why it should be static (i will manually confirm received payment). When someone register at my site, he should have an option to become an affiliate. He has to get his unique link through which he refers other potential buyers. When some buyer comes through his link, he (buyer) shouldn’t had to register. He just fills out the order form (webform). In that moment the affiliate gets info in his registration profile (some sort of table) that someone has ordered something but didn’t payed jet. Eventually when buyer pays me, i go to some administration page and tick the box for confirmed payment. Now, the affiliate can see that he has made 1 successful sale.

This upgrade should also have an option for affiliate to request earned money (editable minimum amount) and the option for me-admin that I can press a button, tick a box or whatever to symbolize that the previous sales have been payed. Of course the money will go through bank and not through website so i repeat again…it is not automatic.

There should be some sort of money counter for the affiliate and I should have an option to set the commission. The idea is also to make more different commission percentage if there are more than 1 order forms (webform). It will be good for the affiliate to be able to track the no. of clicks on his links…

This is an easy project for the average programmer. I am looking to have a marketing research tool created.

This tool will take a domain name and perform a domain name search using the Site Explorer tool (siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com) from yahoo. The idea is to find all of the webpages of a website that has been indexed by yahoo. When searched yahoo returns 1000 URLs of the website that has been indexed by them. The tool also provides a TSV file that can be downloaded.

This program will need to automatically perform the search and then download the TSV file that is provided.

Once the program grabs the TSV file it needs to pull all of the URL information from the file. There will be other information inside the file but I need the program to extract only the URLs inside the file.

The program must use proxies because only a certain amount of searches can be done from the same IP address.

The program needs to be built for maximum speed as well.

Once the URLs are gathered the URLs will be passed on to a CSV file. There will be a template provided that shows the information that should be used in the CSV file.

The program must be a desktop application and compatible with windows.

The program must be in wizard format.

The information that is put into the wizard will be the information that is passed on to create the CSV file in the last step.

Once the URLs are gathered from the TSV file there must be an option to save the list of URLs.

The program must be able to perform these searches for multiple websites, up to 1000, at one time.
Meaning I want to be able to load a list of up to 1000 websites and the program will perform this action for all of them, starting with the first one, then the second and so on.

The last step is the generation of the CSV files and there must be an option to save them to the computer.

The program needs to search without the http://www. , which means it will only use, for example, about.com, not http://www.about.com. The software does not need to add the http://www. To the URL, it just needs to do the search the way the URLs are entered.

You will need to grab the emails (even if there’s a captcha – i’m not sure whether CL has one but I don’t think so), and then reply from my email address.

This will also need to be able to reply from several different email addresses, as I think CL may limit the number of replies from one email address per day. I am not sure; you should be willing to work around any restrictions CL has. If it does, this script will need to switch email accounts for me and start using another of my email accounts for the rest of the emails.

Also, I will want to run these scripts once per day. So, there should be a way for it to only grab the ads from the time period, where that time period is customizable, or to not email people that it’s already emailed.

Also, one thing i’m wondering about is whether this script can run itself (so that I don’t have to start it up) daily. I keep my computer on all the time and they should start themselves up daily and run if that’s an option.
