The reason I am interested in this plugin over other more complex and more functional shopping carts is the ‘custom fields’ in WordPress. No other shopping carts work with custom fields so all products would be manually entered. The code is small and simple (one page 28KB). I have no interest in product management on the website, I will use desktop apps.

I use a csv uploader and it will automatically populate the posts with hundreds of products.

As of now the plugin has limited function with product variations, quantity and pricing.

All short codes would have the product # to link them together.

1) User password when resetting should work. There is a code bug which is why it is not working.

I am in the market for a penny auction site to be created. It should contain all of the features available on phppennyauction.com. You must check this site about and learn about all it’s features before making a bid on my project! In addition to the features of phppennyauction, this site should offer the following types of auctions:

-Penny Auction (Nail biter, peak hour auction, etc) This should be implemented like the rest of the industry has done.
-Seat Auctions
-Lowest Unique Bid Auctions
-Buy it now feature for each auction.
-Free cost auctions (These will be used for the auction of bid packages)

This will be hosted on a DreamHost private server. Any experience with dreamhost in the past is a major plus. You must verify that you can make this script compatible. You can use pure php or an open source php framework such as cakephp. The site will need ajax integration throughout to avoid page reloads. If you will be using cakephp, please be an EXPERT with it and know how to optimize its speed. This site cannot be slow and must be able to handle up to 1000 users at a time without lag or performance issues.

To bid on this project, you must have created multiple penny auction sites before. If you will be using your own framework of a penny auction script you’ve made in the past, I must see examples of both the frontend and admin panel. Please send those links to my private mail box.

Phppennyauction does not appear to have any financial tracking capabilities. This is an essential feature. My site will need to have this and provide profit and loss stats for each auction.

Some of the features that should be included are.

-Referral Module with the ability to determine the referral bid amounts in the admin panel. Also, their should be a module that allows the user to enter their email and email password to refer their email contacts for gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc. Further, when their contacts are imported, the user should be allowed to choose which of their contacts receive a referral email rather than emailing their entire contact list automatically.

-Free bids for user sign up. These will be granted to the user once they make their first bid package purchase. It should be limited to 1 bonus per IP address and email address to prevent multiple sign ups by the same user.

-Coupon codes module that has the same security restrictions as the free bids for new user sign up as mentioned above.

-Complete admin panel that gives me complete control over all aspects of pricing, start and stop times, etc. Further, any changes made that are displayed on the front end of the site, should by dynamic and automatically update when a change is made from the admin panel.

-Complete user management and tracking should be implemented. Any email or notification sent to a specific user from the admin panel should be stored in a separate database for easy reference.

-Ability for users to schedule autobids (BidButler type feature) where they can have complete control of when and how many bids are placed for them while they are offline.

-Autobidder module that can be turned on and off from the admin panel. I should be able to designate, on each auction, the number of autobids to ensure a percentage profit for each auction. This take into account the number of free and referral bids the site has given out make each auction profitable by a set percentage. Eg auction X will not end until there is a 10% profit.

-I should be able to make autobidder accounts and choose the username of each autobidder. Also, I should be able to create a limit on the number of wins for each autobidder that I create.

-Admin panel should allow me to limit the number of auctions a user can win per week to keep the site as fair as possible. Eg 2 auction wins per week per user. This should also be verified by email IP address for those that will create multiple accounts and try to beat the system.

-I should have the ability to edit all email templates from the admin panel.

-Install and a helpdesk module for simple support tickets. This should be integrated into the admin panel and should be further integrated into registered user accounts for easy access to each user’s history with the website. (I can clarify this later if it’s difficult to understand.)

-Video testimonials: in this module winner of any particular auction will be able to leave feedback in the form of youtube video, photo or simple text comment. and we will show that on winners page so, other members will get good impression. And in return of placing feedback and spending few minutes user will get some free bids/credits. The user should be able to submit these from inside of their account management page.

-Integrate an SLL certificate to make all bids and purchases secure.

-Integrate Authorize.net, Paypal, and Google Checkout for payment processing.

-Secure the site from DOS attacks, MySQL injections, and other possible exploits.

-Install mod-rewrite so auction titles are in the url, rather than auctionid?=123432, etc. This is for SEO.

-You will have to install this on my server, or I’ll just give server access for you to build it and test it on. You must be able to provide 45 days of technical support, if it’s needed. (I’m pretty tech savvy and will not need much technical support, but I’d like the option if an issue arises)

-You must be able to fix bugs that are found for up to 1 year after the site goes live. The amount of time it takes to support bugs is up to you. Do it right the first time and this will be a non-issue.

-In the future, I will most likely want more features added or things tweaked and I will want the original coder to do these changes. Please let me know what your rate to code new features will be in the future.

-In addition to the script, you will have to design the layout and graphics for the site. If you’re unable to do this, I will attempt to find a designer that will work with you throughout the project. If you will not be able to do the design work, your bid should reflect this.

-Programmer must be an expert in LAMP (Linux, Apache, PHP, MySQL)
-Must be an expert in AJAX, CSS, Javascript.
-Graphic design skills is a major plus, but not necessary if you can outsource this aspect. Otherwise a designer will be hired to assist you during development.

That’s about all I can come up with at the moment and covers all the necessities of this site. I will go into more detail with qualified coders that provide bids that are in my price range.

Okay, here is the situation. I have been working with one of the top programmers here on Scriptlance on this project. Unfortunately, he seems to have disappeared! After trying to make contact for over a week there is no response and I can’t wait any longer to get this finished.

It isn’t a matter of him ignoring me; we have had a great relationship so that’s not the problem. I have tried numerous email addresses and even had a friend try to contact him with 0 responses. The staff at Scriptlance hasn’t been of any help either in getting this resolved. I am seriously worried that he may have been in some sort of accident or something, hope not!

I just want to be upfront as to why I need a new programmer to finish my project. Obviously it would have been best if the original programmer could finish, but I have no idea what is going on and can’t wait indefinitely!

I need a full integration between OsDate script and SMF. I need both scripts to be compatible with a third database (username, password) which I want to be the pivot database to integrate some other scripts in the future. As for the Osdate-SMF integration, I need the user to be able to login from any of the scripts, and navigate between each other page without having to click any link to login between scripts (login must me automatically recognized with session management). If the password is changed in one, it changes in the other databases. Also, I will need the modified files, so, if I made an upgrade, be able to continue using the integration.

3. Possibly a news feed with headlines on the left side of each category page. This feed should be content-relevant. For instance, if the category is finance, then the headlines should be about finance.

4. Maybe create a new skin using the default template. Right now, I bought a template, but maybe it is best to just customize the default to ensure compliance when the PHPMotion script is updated.

i am looking for a professional webdesigner for some design work and also for implementation into our Website/Templates. The Website is php based with templates based on the smarty template engine.

We already have most of the design done, (logo, background, and so on..) as you can see for yourself : http://bit.ly/cMljJo

but it looks somehow incomplete, because no real buttons for the menu, and other things are not so well done (like the graphic on the frontpage). We need some enhancements and graphical design work for the buttons/ header / footer/ … to make every page look nicer.

We also need the buttons/icons replaced by some new ones, this could be ones from free icon sets so you would just have to find replacements for the actual icons.
(mainly the login area contains many many icons. which should just be replaced by new ones. also the ones at the signup form “Registrieren” and so on..)

We also need some help to make the texts look better, and also to make place for more texts like seen on the example site. (some textboxes).

Should not be too much work, for a creative person. Some of this things probably take longer (like adjusting the templates, adding all graphics) but some like the icon/button work should be easy to do.

We need some fast work so the programmer/designer will receive a extra bonus if we see any results on site soon.

Best would be someone who would be able to start right now and would be able to show progress from time to time. We also need someone with access to MSN or Gtalk, for faster communication.

We have setup an instance of the templates with ftp access so you can test all your changes on the live site without any need to setup things locally.
