I am interested in starting my own website. I have several ideas but one in particular that I have I am not sure if it is a feasible option for me and need to know if you can do this. I already have one post about this – but now is revised because I am more knowledgable.

Things I need are a:

-design layout
-script implementation
-database created for user logins
-Use wordpress to implement plugins for live stock market feeds & portfolio assessment (easily found on the internet).

This project is very simple. I am putting the finishing touches on my site and there are a few simple things that I (a non web programmer) cant figure out. I call these things simple because I know it will be to the programmer that knows what he/she is doing.

The project is going to be on a step by step basis until all of kinks and misplacements are corrected. Example: I am having a hard time getting my time clock to align directly on top of my video on the page. I have been wasting valuable time trying to figure this out. Another example, my videos are taking very long to load (sometimes 15 secs)…is it something I am doing wrong? How do I fix it? Those were just a couple of examples.

Need a simple theme for a upcoming forum on SMF version 2.0. I am not sure if i can post the forum link here, so i will just describe it.

It’s basically a city forum, so I need a simple theme which will show the skyline in the header, a good looking logo, probably change the colours of the default curve theme and few other images here and there. I will supply the images from flickr or you can find your own.

I have other forum projects coming up as well, so there is good chance of getting few more theme-based projects from me.

I need a facebook application that gives people who allow my app to run the choice of it showing in it’s own tab at top of their page or in a box on left sidebar.
The application will pull in an employee schedule from my website and display in that tab. It will also need all the other functions/drop downs that are in that page working in this app. Meaning if they click show next weeks schedule it will refresh that page with the next week schedule.
I would also like each person to have the option to choose auto posting of notifications to their wall or profile page. Meaning if they set theirs to notify one hour before shift starts it will post a message to their page one hour befor their next shift starts.
I also want it to have settings saved somewhere so they dont have to do seperate login when they click the tab. Maybe as each employee is entered in my websites system we can also save their unique Facebook ID? That way the tab on their site knows where to go fetch teh info and the login is auto approved?

I want an Android application that can play mp3 files. I need the source code, so that I can compile it on my Android simulator and deploy it on the Google Android store.

It needs to have these features:

- It must play most common audio file formats, including: wav, mp3, flac, aiff

- It should have a fairly simple, basic user interface allowing the following actions: play, pause, stop

- It should have a “play head” showing where the song is in progress (i.e., a progress indicator), and users should be able to “set” the play head by simply tapping on it. This is how most touch-screen audio players work, like the iPhone audio player.

- It should show the song length in minutes and seconds, and indicate where in the song the play head is (i.e., show the current song time, like “3:45″ meaning that the song is 3 minutes and 45 seconds into the playing).

- It should be skinnable (I should be able to easily change the look of the buttons and overall interface). If you simply save all the graphics in external PNG or JPG files, that will probably be sufficient.

- It should be able to easily fetch supported audio files from a user’s Android device, and save the audio files in some sort of “playlist”

- Users should be able to organize their music into very simple “playlists” which are basically just named lists of files to play at once (one song after another). Users should be able to have multiple playlists, and easily manage them (add/edit/remove them)

The application should be coded in Android 2.x.

NOTE: You may start from an existing code if you have it (for example, an open-source MP3 player application that is already written in Android?). Thus, maybe you can do this project very quickly by simply giving me some code that already exists!

I have a self-hosted wordpress blog and need a script that will set a cookie (or similar mechanism) so that visitors only see a certain number of pages before they are forced to register on the site. The registration will be an Infusionsoft form, so they are opting in to our email list, not actually creating a wrodpress login.

In other words, the blog is being used as a squeeze page to get email optins by giving valuable content away for free. Users should be able to read some of the content, but then get hit with the optin to keep reading.

I am looking for a programmer to develop an already half produced WordPress theme (portfolio inc. blog type of site). Unfortunately I have been let down by a previous developer and the need for the theme has become very urgent. The previous developer has already created static pages already with the functionality I am looking for (although not fully pixel for pixel). Ideally I’d be interested is working with a developer who will be comfortable taking the work which has previously been done and converting the static pages into a fully functional WordPress theme.

A brief description of what is need is below:

Homepage Template 1
The homepage features a featured work area which will cycle through specified projects, and also displays a latest blog post inc image with text. Directly beneath is a filter grid of projects all tag with related categories. on interaction with the filter (Design, Interactive, Motion etc), the grid fades out and consequently fades back in with the results of the filter – this work has previously been done by developer I had (.js)

Alternative to template 1 this template has a top area allowing the user to input vimeo video / html / images etc. This area is basically there to showcase latest video.

The main purpose of the site is for people to buy and sell their art, much like ebay or stubhub. I need a blog and a poll section as well. The site must be built in a platform that will be upgradable in the future. This is because I will be taking monthly membership and maybe somewhere down the road, to take a percentage of from a sale.
