Now I need to know how to setup the following.
I need to know who the owner is (company_admin) for that company.
so i created a table column “owner” in the companies table, and put the users.user_id in there.

I don’t think that is a good design.
because today we realized that some companies should be able to create branch offices.
not all branch offices will use there own company_admin to add users to there office.
The parent office/company owner (company_admin), will create users for the branch office.
But we still need to know who to contact from the branch office.

The company_admin is the person we will contact.
so 2 things can happen. The company_admin will always be responsible for the main office
if there are branch offices, the same company_admin could be the contact, or he could assign
a new users beloning to that branch office as the company_admin for that office.

How should we store branch offices?
how do we know which branch office, belongs to which company?
also how do we assign a company_admin.

I need travel(road) distances between 900k coordinate pairs.

Each pair has a starting location latitude&longitude and a destination location latitude&longitude. I need the road distance between those to pairs.

By road distance I mean the distance which you would need to go by car. I’m not interested in the bird fly distance (I already have bird fly distances.)

Google maps can tell me distance between each pair but querying 900k pairs manually would not be feasible.

I’m guessing you will need access to google maps api to complete this project. And you will need to be able to automate this query.

I need an automated data entry program written that can take emails and web pages with lists of names and enter them into my web application without manual key entry. I would like to set this up on a scheduler. Here is an example of flow of process:

Developed program would on a schedule go out to my clients web app and login in using a user name and password and find the names my client wants me to review for them and then take those names and bring them back into my web app and data enter the information. I am trying to eliminate manual key strokes and save on labor time. I also want this program to be able to accept emails and parse them for the same info to be data entered into my web app.
