Data Scrape Js Based Site

I have a website that I need to scrape that relies on ajax/javascript.
The script has to be written in perl and will be ran via shell (not cgi).
The script has to login w a username and password, submit a form, and obtain a small amount of data.
You will probably have to use WWW::Scripter or WWW::Mechanize.
I can provide you with a shell account w these perl modules already installed.
