I would like to develop a member profile site (similar to MySpace, but not really). I need it to be simple. Requirements are as follows:

- Must be PHP and utilize MySQL database to store information.
- People Sign up with basic information (name, e-mail, password, location, etc.)
- A pre-made list of US states and cities is preferred as opposed to them just typing in any city. A country list would be nice, with the ability to add cities to the countries via an admin control panel.
- The Members should be able to select what kind of person they are at signup (ex. Artist, Businessman, Plumber, etc.)
- Verification e-mail upon signup would be nice.
- When a member logs in to create their profile, there will be fields they must fill out (ex. bio, location, profile pic, etc.)
- Ability to upload audio files, just audio, not video. And these audio files will be shown on their profile page in an embeded player, with the ability to add a title and possibly description of the audio file.
- The main page of the site should show recently signup members with what type of person they are (Artist, Businessman, etc.)
- The ability to search member profiles from the homepage (and any page on the site) either by location (city & state, just state, type of person and also a combination of the three)
- An admin control panel where admins can login to see all members, e-mail members, delete members, view stats, etc. (A pretty basic admin panel)
- And any other cool features you think should be in this type of project

I’m looking to get a dedicated server (nothing too fancy) and I would like to setup a VPN on it.

How hard would it be to setup a VPN on a dedicated server? I’m looking to do something similar like http://strongvpn.com/ which allows users from around the world to connect to the VPN and then browse sites that make be blocked by their country.

Has anyone ever done this before? If so, how easy was it and did you need a control panel on the server or anything to do this? I would just want a basic dedicated server for like $50-$80 to maybe try and set this up and and use OpenVPN (http://openvpn.se) to allow a few users to connect.

II am looking to create a module for another website that will allow me to develop and manage coupons in a windows base template style. Additionally we will need to incorporate the ability to control how many coupons are printed by each email address. I am looking to have a Squeeze page prior to coupon access and will need to allow for that and have you create that for us also. 2. I must be near my computer to be constantely refreshing the admin panel to import comments.
