I need a rewrite of the extisting feedwordpress plugin with some extensions.
General Requirements :
- the Design of the admin-panels must be the same as from feedwordpress
- the Plugin must be fully localized, so every string could be translated with poEdit
- strict OO Design and use of the current WordPress API (e.g. the WordPress-Widget API from 2.8)
- the described settings could be edited global (default settings) or for each feed (like feedwordpress)
- all meta-fields must start with an underscore, so the fields are hidden from the wordpress custom-fields section.
- add a meta-postbox to posts with fields for all meta-values
Required extension (to the existing feedwordpress functions) :
Feeds and Updates
- New Section “Updating and Deleting”.
- Setting “Update existing post”. If set to false an existing post should not be updated by feedwordpress.
- Setting “Only import Post from the last X days”, where X is a numeric input. If this is set to a value > 0, feedwordpress should only import feeds that are not older than X days.

I need to modify my oscommerce t-shirt store to be able to switch different design options. I already have modded my shop to allow six additional images in additional to the main product image in the top right hand corner. I persume it would be easiest to use these and would allow me to easily upload images via easypopulate this way. I also have a color switcher that displays a t-shirt color upon customer selection that displays the product artwork on top of it. If at least one of the six extra image is assigned to a product it should display a tiny thumbnail of the image with a radio button above it. When the customer selects this image via the radio button, it will replace the image that is displayed on the t-shirt on the right side.

Web page requires Javascript so unless you know how to automate that you wont be able to use simple web request.
Captcha image can only be downloaded once, so you have to save the portion of the screen as an image for submission to decaptcher.com
You have to clear the cookies for each account if you plan on using the IE control.

I have two large fixed width text files of mailing addresses that I need to process every month in various ways. I am currently doing all of the steps manually using a collection of shell scripts and unix command line tools. I want to essentially convert these shell scripts into well designed Python code with functions that can do all of the processing in a more efficient manner. Some of the tasks that I currently do are:
* Get 2 files from an FTP server, rename, merge, and modify these 2 files.
* Count the number of records that have and do not have an address2 field.
* The file is sorted by zip code, and I need to split the file into smaller files by every nth row, or by a number of records that my client determines.
* The file has a unix EOL character that needs to be flipped to a dos EOL character.
* The fixed width file layout has to be formatted according to different client needs.
* After processing the files, I need to put the files to several different FTP servers. Then email a report with key stats such as file name, number of records and timedate stamp of FTP upload.
* I want this done in Python because I have a basic understanding of Python and will be able to review and modify code as needed.
I have all of the logic worked out because I do all of the steps myself. I need a solid Python programmer who can help me build a script(s) to help me automate these tasks.
