I recently purchased penny auction software and need several items reconfigured. This is for charity fundraising and we need someone who can do this and do it right. Our reputation will be on the line. The software has been installed and some graphics, etc. have been added. The information has all been added.
What we now need it to reconfigure the code to be able to offer auctions after purchasing bid packs. We’ll need someone to code it so that we can have the proper amount of time added after the system has timed below 15 seconds to always move back to 15 seconds when a bid is placed. There are also some obvious code errors in the scripting. There are a few other things that need to be done. What we are interested in is someone who will complete everything and work on a commission basis once we go live. If this is possible for you, please tell us what percentage you would think you should get. This amount will be for as long as this site lasts. In other words, if we give you 2% of the net proceeds from all auctions, you could net several hundred dollars a day. Or you could set a specific amount and that would be paid from the proceeds of the auctions. The reason for this is that we are setting it up to be owned by the charity and we are fronting the expense to get this started and are also working in exchange for a percentage of the profits from the auctions. We are using x-cart with a drop-ship vendor (provider in x-cart language) supplying the product for our orders. However, we have some inventory left on hand at our location that we want to draw down and eliminate until it is gone. Currently one of our staff has to take each order and check it against an our inventory (on an excel spreadsheet) before giving the ok to the drop ship vendor to process the order. We would like to automate the task of checking an order against the inventory here before releasing the order to the vendor. It could be as simple as a cross check against the spreadsheet for a product sku and quantity and then if in stock and then deleting the quantity in our inventory from the order before it gets processed by the drop ship vendor. The quantity being pulled from our inventory would be listed on both the provider and admin side of x-cart. If the item is not found to be in inventory, there would be an override function that the admin could use to prevent the quantity from being noted.

I have an issue with an existing checkout system using paypal – once users have paid they should return to my site where they can download their purchase.

This worked fine until recently when a mySQL error appeared (see below) I think this must be something simple as the code has not been altered at all.

We need the CSS of this menu changed so that the tab that corresponds to the active page stays highlighted. Ideally, you will provide us with a simple CSS link which we can add to the correct tab for each page so that it displays “highlighted” on that page. Does that make sense?

We need a modification for one of the oscommerce Gift Certificate contributions.

Which one to use is not very important.

People can enter a fixed amount of money OR they can select one of the products (plus options) from the shop.
