Upgrade Site To Php5 Vb And Wp

I need to run php5 so I can install some mods for my forum that is a vbulletin forum. I am currently running 3.8.4. I am on a cpanel. It looks like I can just click to go to php5 but I think it might effect some scripts I am running.
I need someone to upgrade my site to run on php5 without causing errors with my scripts. I am running wordpress 2.8, vbulletin 3.8.4, photopost, reviewpost.
Must have experience with vbulletin and wordpress.
