Candidate Website Design
This project is for the creation of a professional and quality Australian political candidate’s website.
With a similiar design of: http://www.janehowlett.com.au
The site should be a combination of flash and html (so that it loads on most computers).
The political party’s colours are blue, so a blue theme would be appropriate.
The site should be designed so that the creation and editing of pages can easily be completed by
a user with limited computer skills.
The following features for the site would be appreciated:
+ Form for ordering signs.
+ Form for filing election suggestions.
+ Blog style entries, with the most recent blog automatically being displayed on the front page.
+ Page for displaying embedded youtube videos.
+ Share this functions (Facebook, Myspace, Email etc…)
+ Discussion Forums (with high performing spam detection/elimination).
+ Shopping Cart for purchasing merchandise and making donations (Have used and recommend Interspire’s shopping cart).
+ Shopping Cart and Forums to use the same login details (if possible).
+ Shopping Cart and forums to be customised to match and embeded into the theme of the entire site.
+ Customised Forum sign up Form, and a method of exporting the data (contact details of user) to Outlook.
+ Donate funds component (Paypal or other)
+ Sign up for a Newsletter List
+ Exporting the Newsletter list to a CSV file to load onto Outlook.
+ HTML email templates and/or signatures that can easily be loaded onto Outlook.
Also some advice on the best way to distribute and maintain an electronic newsletter.
The feel of the entire site needs to be of high quality and a hassle free experience for every visitor.
The site will be hosted on a Hostgator Server. Hostgator also provide a heap of free software that may be customised to this project (forums etc..)
As always, I am only interested in a 100% Escrow payment, which will be created at commencement and released upon completion.
Fast and clear communication in English is a priority!
Looking for fast and quality work.
Please keep the bids real.
