Javascript Postcode Price Calc

Hi,
would like a simple comparison calculator made with javascript probably. If it is possible to do it with AJAX I would like that but in depends if this would be alot more expensive. Please let me know the costs of both.
Not sure how hard this is so I have done a more detailed explanation on a notepad. I have also got all the math and info on a calc document which i can make into excel if you need it. Will pay fast with paypal or can use escrow.
