Turn Web Page Into Excel

December 20th, 2009

Using the attached questions.html, turn each of the questions into a row on the attached spreadsheet

Wherever you see a trivia question, type (or programmatically convert) the information into the attached Excel spreadsheet with these fields populated:
Book [T=Twilight, NM=New Moon, E=Eclipse, BD=Breaking Dawn]
Question [end with a ? mark]
Answer [don't end with any punctuation]
Reference [page number, if applicable]

This should be a pretty easy exercise for a programmer who can write a quick routine and convert this standard HTML document into lines that can be input into a spreadsheet.

There should be approximately 1,200 questions when you are done.

See the spreadsheet for the first few examples.

The final product is a completed Trivia.xlsx document.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I will probably have many more of these types of jobs in the future, so I’m looking to create a long-term relationship with someone who can quickly complete these types of jobs with his quality.
