Forums Joomla User Handling
Project description:
We are using one website system (Joomla) to run two websites, one english and one swedish. We have one swedish forum and one english forum, that needs to be exported from our current two websites into our current joomla based system with JFusion. We will use a master user database where our users login, in the joomla system, and we will have two forums, one english and one swedish and the user choose the language when registered to be asigned the right forum.
Export 2 forum databases from phpBB2 into vBulletin 3.7.2
The developer must take in consideration that we will upgrade to vBulletin 4.0 in a relatively near future,
We are using a master(joomla user database) + slave(english forums user database) + slave (swedish forums user database)
The import can not disturb our commenting system when there users when logged in, can comment articles or news etc. (We have already installed comment system etc but that must work with the user databasers after import to vBulletin)
We need user names, passwords to be imported intact if possible, along with the threads, posts, categories in the forums etc.
Demands on developer:
- Very good at the english language or swedish language
- Previous SUBSTANTIAL experience of this kind of projects before
- Developer needs long experience with clean projects with detailed specifications
- The developer must be available of some kind of chat software such as MSN or ICQ
- The developer must have strong sence of professionalism
