Music Community Website + Feat
Hi all,
I am looking for a nifty developer to build a community web site with :
- Nice Web 2.0 web site
- admin section
- members area
- forum
- UNIQUE PLAY ONLINE feature !
The Play Online fonction lets members hook up there instrument (like they normally do to play or record) and be able to play with friends via the website. So a group could rehearse on the net as if they were in the same room!
This would probably have to work on a “join music lobby” basis so that the members can join/make a lobby (with password if need be), and then there friends can join and play.
Chat function and vocal needed.

Some one has made a free programme that does just this but you have to download and install in order for it to work. I dont mind if there is a programme but the lobby is essential.
Maybe add a “concert” function where a group can play for money? just an idea…

Plug ‘n play music.
Plug ‘n play music is a community based web site for musicians, groups and music lovers who can connect to the web site and play their favorite instrument with their friends, right there in a web browser. Even if the group members are miles apart. Plug ‘n play music brings members together.

“Sign up” button and “members area” button
Browse artists and their personal page and listen to their music (premium accounts can record music)

Members area :
personal artist page (description, photo, instruments played, join a group, newsletter sign up, etc)
Group page (members in group, description, genre of music, upload photos, click to play)
Lobby to hook up and play & chat.
Premium membership
Premium membership is a monthly fee to allow bonus content to groups. record music to their group profile so visitors can listen to it. Also no advertisement for premium groups. Possibility to become artist of the week.
Admin section :
add news to front page.
Be able to regulate members, ban, promote (artist of the week). Change groups to regular or premium accounts, verify payments.
General stats.
Things we would like in a future update (PRICE TO BE DISCUSSED)
- Concert evenings. A group can play live and visitors watch in streaming.
- Donate to groups. A visitor can donate via paypal to thier favorite artist/group
