Dynamic Streaming Flash Player
Hi,
We (a start-up based in Sweden) are looking for players for a new dynamic streaming service working of a standard FSM 3.5 platform.
As a starting point we would like a player with the same functionality as that used in www.streamflashHD.com. Note the information that pops up with the mouse placed over the bitrate window. As you can see, this player provides “available bandwidth” information, and I am interested in your thoughts on how to provide this information in the best way.
We would like this player to embed the dynamicstream and dynamicstreamitem classes that Adobe provides, since we like the functionality but we would like to be able to change key parameters in that.
The videos should be added to the player through a smil file and we would a html that 1) check flash version and prompts for installtion/upgrade is required and 2) starts the video.
Also important that it is as small as possible (stating the obvious?).
This is a starting point for us, so there will be add on developments when this initial project is completed.
We are ready to go, with our own HD video studio, video materials, dedicated streaming server infrastructure etc, so I hope you can help us.
We expect any applicant to have demonstrable experience of dynamic streaming and working with FSM 3.5.
