Hello – We have a new site that requires data being collected from almost 500 seperate local govt websites (District, County & Town Councils) in the UK.

We have the correct name for each of organizations. What we require are the following fields:

1. Council Website URL
2. Council Website Allotmemnt Page URL
3. Poscode Of The Council
4. Contact Name of Allotments Officer
5. Contact Telephone Number of Allotments Officer
6. General Contact Tel for Council
7. Email Address For Allotments Enquiries
8. Main Email Address For Council
9. Annual cost of an allotment
10. Any other important comments.

Then we need the actual address & postcode of each allotment site listed on the local authority page.

For instance, if you look at the following page

I attach a spreadsheet which has all the headings in place and has been completed for the first 3 local govt sites on the list.

I have also produced a word document with helpful instructions on how to interpret the allotment names, and how to find postcodes from amiguous names (the post codes are essential to us).

We are very keen to have the spreadsheet completed withy as many results as possible in 1 week.

Some of the information will not be possible to find, and I would aim to gather complere data for about 80% of the local authorities.

We can agree a rate and then pro rata it depending on results.

IMPORTANT – When you submit the spreadsheet at the end of the job I will select 10 random local authorities and personally validate all the entries.

If there are substantial inacurracies I will do a further test of 10 random sites and if the inaccuracies are wide spread we will not pay for the work, as it will mean we have to repeat the entire job to make sure the results are accurate.

I hope you understand this is only reasonable.

Since my long term goal is to go to a better platform/broker than MT4 – there would be much additional work required to convert 1000s of lines of MQL code into C+/Java and to interface it with an API using the FIX 3.4 protocol

I provide below a very simple outline of my proposed expert advisor – which I call Slipstream:

1 Primary Indicator – this is a digital filter

4 Secondary Indicators – these are also digital filters and communicate with the Primary

All of these have already been written but repaint badly and have some other minor problems

For the many hours of manual testing I have done so far, all these bugs are not a problem as I just ignore them

However, for automated trading – they will all have to be fixed, of course

All these indicators then have to be synchronized very precisely with standard price bars based on time (according to custom rules I have developed)

However, this becomes more complicated because I usually work in Multi-Time Frames simultaneously

While looking at my base chart of M15 – an M30 – M60 – M240 charts are also being calculated at the same time

When certain patterns of alignment appear – then I trade

As long as these patterns stay together – the trade continues

When the pattern breaks up – I exit immediately and wait for the next pattern to develop and so on …….

These trades are usually longer term – not of the short scalping kind

Since these filters are digital – they seem to work on any currency, index, stocks etc.

In addition, I have recently completed much testing on Renko Bars and Constant Range Bars (CRB) with excellent results

As well, I have custom code for VRenko – which are bars that are “not” exactly identical but change slightly according to the ATR of recent trading activity

Also, I have Variable Range Bars (VRB) which are similar to VRenko

Following along with the same concepts as Multi-Frame Trading – I also want to look at 2 Renkos (i.e M9 & M15) simultaneously – wait for the alignment and then trade

The same possibility exists for CRBs as well

Of course, any good EA will also need standard features such as: money management, stop losses, handling of requotes, platform disconnects, etc

As I said , this is a big project !

3) Calculating player game statistics and rankings.

5) Enabling registered users to add friends and send emails to friends.

6) Also as part of this project is the setup (and possible customization) of an open source Java forum (javabb). Enabling registered users to post messages on the forum and all users to read messages.

The coder should have good communication skills and provide regular updates. The code should be well commented.

It is very important that the code is well structured and easy to maintain.

We are interested in developing long term relationships with coders who are interested in working on future similar projects.

Most of the database tables and fields have been defined although there may be changes or additions. We have also portions of code that can be used from similar projects.

Tournaments

There are two types of tournaments regular system generated tournaments and player created tournaments.

The web interface does two things regarding tournaments:

1) Allows players to create their own tournaments.

a) If the player does not have enough credits to accept an invitation to a tournament he/she should be asked to add more credits before being allowed to accept the tournament where the tournament requires credits.

b) If a payer has accepted a tournament created by another user they should not be allowed to accept another tournament that will start at the same time.

Tournaments created by users should be displayed in the creators time and the registered users time zones.

Tournament invitations will be sent as an email to users. The user clicks a link in the email to accept or reject the tournament.

2) Display information on system generated tournaments. This information is read from a database. The results of previous tournaments and the times of upcoming tournaments.

The system generated tournaments should be displayed in the server time zone and GMT.
