Magento Speed Optimization
I have a magento store which has custom code written and modules installed. The site is working fine but the front end is running slow.
Category view page on average tasks 5 seconds
product view page on average takes 10 seconds can be upto 17 in IE7.
The server is fast so the problem is related to the custom code or magento code.
Normal CMS pages, adding to cart, checkout is ok but still slightly slow.
I need around 50% increase in speed so the code will need to be updated to make things run quickly.
This is a technical task. Do not bid if you are not skilled in Magento with custom core code changes!
I need this doing before 9th december.
I cannot pay if the site is not at least 50% faster overall. I can provide/agree with you key sections of the site which need to be faster than others.
I would prefer someone who can work daily on this and keep in regular contact with me.
