Update Joomla Website

Dear programmers,
I have a joomla website. However old version. That’s why it was probably hacked once or twice.
What is needed:
1. Update website to latest version and also update all modules/extensions/plugins/etcetera to latest
2 Security check on site to see if no “hackers stuff” is staying for next invasion
Project is due for last next week (maybe little later).
