Google Maps Api Expert Needed
We already have a fully functional MYSQL db installed on our server which contains lot of POI (Point of Interest) data. Using data from this db, we now need an expert in Google Maps API to finish a specific local search function on our website: http://www.econcierges.com/DEV/FRAMEWORK/biz/profile?userid=62&handler=biz&biz=French%20Laundry
Please see attached pdf for clarification of following tasks:
1. Display local content from this database onto our site to show nearby businesses (such as Hotels, Restaurants, Spa, Wineries, etc) using google maps API. Must calculate accurate distances between business and plot them on google map as well as list format with full business information. Also, provide point to point directions and detect user’s location via Google Gears and other browsers.
2. Provide functionality of Local Search on the website from this database to search for any business through keywords. Along with showing Nearby Businesses also show “People who viewed this business also viewed”.
Please Note: coding and design must be done for each task in way so that it is iphone compatible. For example nothing can be done in flash since iphone does not support flash, Google maps must show on iphone, phone # must be able to be dialed on iphone simply by tapping the phone # in the webpage, “directions” link must launch native iphone map. So again, all aspects of this project must also work if browsed on iphone.
